I got a call about an hour ago from Hutch telling me to meet him at his place as soon as I could make it. I told him it would be some time since I was about to call my ma to let her know when my plane got in next week. He said that was fine and then hung up. I couldn’t tell by his voice if something was wrong but I didn’t have that gut feeling that something was wrong either. After he hung up I called my ma. Once I was done I got changed and headed over to his place. The drive was filled with Christmas music as I sang along. It has been driving Hutch crazy this whole time because he is not much into Christmas. I understand why but he also understands that I love it so much. So he lets me play it as I try to help him to see the real reason why Christmas is so amazing. When I got there I parked my Torino behind Hutch’s car as I just smiled and shook my head. He really needs a new car for Christmas but I know he won't drive it. I ran up the stairs, got the key from the top of the door and let myself in. The sight I saw stopped me dead in my tracks. There was a 6tf Christmas tree standing in the living room and I couldn't believe it.

“How does it look?” I heard Hutch ask.

“I just….well…..I don’t….” I said as I stammered over my words.

“We finally have seen the famous Starsky speechless.” Kiko said with a giggle.

“I thought it just might make him speechless.” Hutch said as he put his hand on my shoulder.

I turned to him as I asked, “I thought you would never get a Christmas tree, why did you get one?”

“To shut you up.” Hutch said with a grin. He then walked away as he said, “Now shut the door and help us decorate it.”

“With pleasure,” I said as I closed the door and looked around. “What are all these boxes?” I asked as I walked to the tree.

“Those are the decorations and lights.” Pete said.

“Oh got it.” I was smiling. “Where do we start?”

“The lights, silly,” Hutch said as he handed me a box with lights.

I took the box and pulled the lights out. I started at the top of the tree when I heard Hutch say, “Ummm I think you need to start at the bottom not the top.”

“Umm no, you start at the top.”

“No you don’t.”

“Hutch, buddy, listen to me. If you start from the bottom then you will have the plug at the top and then you won't be able to light the tree up.”

“Well maybe I want it that way.”

“Yay, no way Hutch. We will light this tree so we start at the top.”

Hutch just had a smile on his face that told me he was playing with me.

“Hutch if you don’t help with these lights since it is your tree and you are taller than me, I will wrap you with the lights on this tree.” I told him as I started to walk to him with the strand of lights in my hands.

He put his hands as he said, “Okay, okay I’ll help. Give me some of the lights.”

I just laughed as we put the lights around the tree. Once we got done I looked at Kiko, “Will you do that honors.” He smiled as he plugged in the lights and the tree lit up.

With all smiles on all of our faces Pete spoke up, “You know what is missing?”

“What?” Hutch asked.

“Christmas music.” Kiko and Pete said at the same time. We all laughed as Hutch started up the Christmas records that he had. We all sang along as we put the ornaments on the tree.
