Liar [Maze Runner Fanfiction]

This is not an update.

Don't kill me. I must live to finish A Song of Ice and Fire.

So it's been four months since I've updated and I want to say that I'm so incredibly sorry for not doing so and I need to stop being a procrastinating shank and need to get my ass up and start writing because all I've even done in these fourmonthswaswritehalfachapterandscrapitbecauseIhateditI'msososorrydon'tBanishmeorelseI'llkilloffyourfavouritecharacters.

Forgive me father for I have sinned. I should try admitting things more often... feels pretty good, huh.

In all seriousness, I'm seriously sorry for not updating. Before I get to the excuses, I need to clear up something.

This story is not over. I repeat. This story is not bloody over.

There's still a lot more to come, I promise. Though I'm not promising that all of it will be sunshine and rainbows. Hell, I'm not promising that even half of it will be good.

I'm planning on finishing this story with around 30-40 chapters, then writing books two and three, which will be called Traitor and Saviour. They will follow The Scorch Trials and The Death Cure but they will veer off the plot significantly because I'm not one of those authors who write a carbon copy of the damn book and stuff their perfect little character in it with no explanation whatsoever, occasionally stealing the main characters lines. (Cue violent coughing.)

But I'm not here to bash bad fanfiction. Not that mine isn't bad, that would make me a hypocrite.

Who am I kidding; I am a hypocrite.

I tell authors to update and curse them when they don't for 3 weeks, and in turn... Well, you guys know what kind of stuff I pull.

Which brings me to my next topic: where the hell I was and why the fuck did I haven't updated in ages.

I blame it on Harry Potter and manga.

I've been idle the entire summer (winter?) vacation because I was at Universal Studios in Orlando, and as a lot of you might know I met the cast of Harry Potter! I went to a few panels and was able to get James and Oliver Phelps' autographs! It was an amazing experience and I might or might not stroke my autographed Deathly Hallows possesively whispering 'my precious' every night.

(As a lot of you might be realising now, your author might not be all that sane.)

I've also been watching and reading a lot of manga and anime. So (hint, hint) if you guys are up to talk about Tokyo Ghoul drop me a line. (I need friends.)

You guys have listened (read?) to me rambling for too long, so, yeah, sorry about that.

The good news is that a new chapter is currently in the works and will be posted (hopefully!) soon.
