The next day Val went to the boarding house to see Damon. As she got to the door Stefan walked up from behind her.
"Where've you've been?" She asked while opening the door.
"Around." He just said and passed her walking in first. They both walked into the main area of the house to find Damon tied to a chair, a fireplace stoker in his chest, his ring on the floor and Mason watching him but they couldn't see him.
"Omg Damon." She ran up to him not knowing what to do.
"What the hell happened to you?" Stefan asked not fazed, slowly walking into the room.
"Whatever twisted ripper game this is, leave me out of it." Damon groaned while pulling at the chains. Val stroked his hair with shaky hands, "we're gonna get you out of this ok." He leant into her touch still in pain.
"I didn't do this." Stefan told him.
"I swear to god Stefan if you had anything to do with th-" Val started giving him a death glare.
"I didn't." He said again checking out the chains.
"Its pretty messed up though, isn't it?" Stefan said touching the chains.
"Yep"
Stefan removes the iron stick. Damon screams. "I will go get you some blood from downstairs while Stefan pulls the chains off you." Val said running to the basement.
Stefan begins to remove the chains but stops and leaves. Mason is watching them but Damon can't see him.
Val runs back into the room with a blood bag, she looks around confused. "Where the fuck is Stefan?"
"Where do you think?"
She huffed, "what a dick head."

After Val helped Damon get out of the mess he was in, The two walked to Damon's car.
