A KotLC Christmas

Chapter 9

Merry Christmas everyone! I thought it was only right to update today, since it is a Christmas story.

---Tam's POV---

I was sleeping soundly in a guest bedroom at Havenfield until my amazing sister decided to tackle me and jump on my bed.

"IT'S CHRISTMAS, TAMMY BOY!!!" she screamed, jumping up and down.

Groggily, I got up, glaring at Linh who didn't seem to notice I wasn't very happy about being woken up in this fashion.

"Linh, I know you're happy, but please, don't jump on your brother." reminded Sophie, who came in the room.

"Awww. Fine, I'll go open my presents with Marella." said Linh, exiting the room.

"C'mon Tam, you can open your presents now." Sophie told me. "Everyone else is having breakfast."

After changing and brushing my teeth, I went to the breakfast table and took my seat next to Dex.

"Sleeping Beauty finally woke up!" said Keefe dramatically, pretending to gasp. I smacked him.

"Keefe, I know you love the story Sleeping Beauty so much, even more than your hair, but please, I'm trying to eat without imagining Tam with long golden hair." said Biana, who was rolling her eyes.

Keefe gasped, about to act offended before Fitz cut in. "Are we opening presents then?"

"I suppose," said Dex, finishing the last of his purple stuff.

"Yay!" squealed Linh, dragging Marella out of her chair to the Christmas tree. We followed them, finding our presents and peeling the wrapping away.

From Sophie, I got a keychain with a shadow pendant, from Biana, a snow globe, Linh, another Happy Shadow Thoughts shirt - this time blue backround, from Marella a cookbook on how to make desserts, from Keefe portrait of me with the words 'Bangs Boy' on it, from Fitz mood candy, and from Dex a new video game he had made.

Looking around, the others were still unwrapping things, smiling while doing so.

Keefe had given everyone portraits of themselves; Fitz got mood candy or scented air or little toys; Dex gave video games of his own creation; I got everyone cookies; Sophie got customized keychains for everyone; Biana Christmas themed decorations; Linh different things for everyone; Marella getting whatever the person wanted.

After eating more cookies and Mallowmelt, we started packing to leave. I was kinda sad we had to leave. I have to admit, the sleepover was pretty fun.

"Aww, I don't wanna leave!" complained the girls making Sophie chuckle. She promised them more sleepovers for the fourth of July.

After we packed up, we stood by the pastures saying our goodbyes.

"Bye Sophie!" said Biana!

"Bye!"

We got ready with out leaping crystals. Fitz held on up for Biana and him, as I got one for Linh. He grinned at us. "Sleepover at Everglen next year for Christmas!"
