Dream loved Christmas that was no secret. He loved spending time with his family and surprising everyone he knew with amazing gifts. This year was a bit different than just spending Christmas with his family though. 

"Where's my favorite brother?!" Drista teased when she opened the door to Dream and Sapnap's house. Sapnap immediately jumped out of his room, knowing Drista would enter if he wasn't out there. 

"You're not allowed to enter my room." Sapnap said, his eyes starring Drista down. "If you do, I'm returning all your presents and only giving you a pair of pink socks." Sapnap threatened, Drista backing away. 

"I'm gonna go help mom and Dream with the food." Drista said smiling while skipping away down the hall and into the kitchen. Sapnap went back into his room, getting the last presents wrapped up and putting a nice outfit on. 

"Sapnap! Hi!" Dream's mom called when seeing him walking into the kitchen. Drista was sitting in the dining room with her phone, quickly looking up before going back to scrolling instagram. 

"Sap, can you help me with setting the table?" Dream asked, getting some plates from a cupboard. Sapnap agreed and went to get cutlery. The two walked side by side into the dining room where Drista quickly exclaimed. 

"YOU'RE UNDER THE MISTLETOE!" Sapnap and Dream looked at each other, then up, then back at the other. 

"We are." Dream said laughing to himself. He was the one setting it up. How did he forget?

"Do we then kiss?" Sapnap asked, jokingly winking at Dream. Dream quickly leaned over, pecking Sapnap on the cheek, before setting the dishes on the table. Sapnap did the same, putting the cutlery around the plates. 

"When does dad get here?" Dream asked, picking a meowing Patches up. 

"He got off work at 4 and said he'd shower first so probably not that long now."

"Baha! You're under it again!" Drista laughed, not able to breathe. 

"Omg!" Sapnap exclaimed, kissing Dream on his cheek, then the top of Patches' head. 

"Dream?" Sapnap asked quietly, seeing the older in his bed. 

"Hm? Yeah?" Dream asked, looking up from his phone. 

"Drista fell asleep in my bed, so I was wondering if I could sleep in here." Sapnap asked. 

"Yeah sure." Dream said, scooting over to make room for Sapnap. Sapnap got in the bed, turning his back to Dream. 

"Thank you for an amazing day." Sapnap said, sleep washing over him. "I enjoyed every bit of it."

"Everything?" Dream asked giggling. 

"What?" Sapnap asked confused, not sure what Dream was laughing about, turning around so he was facing the blonde. 

"Even the mistletoe?" Dream asked, now with a serious voice. 

"Uhm.." Sapnap stuttered, not sure how to answer. "I uhh.." Sapnap heart was beating faster than he's ever tried before. Dream's beating just as fast. 

"Sap?." Dream asked, cupping the younger's cheek in his hand. 

"Dream?." Sapnap matched, smiling at his best friend. 

"Can I kiss you?" Dream asked, the two inches from kissing. 

"I don't know caaan you?" Sapnap teased, smiling at himself. 

"Stop being such a tease!" Dream said, a firm tone in his voice. 

"Shut up and kiss me." Sapnap whispered, capturing Dream's lips, Dream kissing back. 

"I hate you so much.." Dream whispered slightly out of breath, biting down on Sapnap's bottom lip. 

"Keep biting and you have something to explain to your parents tomorrow~" Sapnap teased, nuzzling his and Dream's noses together. 

"Stop teasing and kiss me." Dream said smiling, placing small quick kisses on Sapnap's lips. Sapnap held one of the kisses, deepening slightly by putting his hands in the taller's hair. 

"I like you, Dream." Sapnap said out of breath, after pulling away. 

"I like you too." Dream answered, wrapping his arms around Sapnap's body and pulling him closer. 

"Meeoow" The two heard from the end of the bed, Patches sitting there looking at them. 

"Come here Patches." Sapnap said, making room for Patches to go in-between their bodies. 

"You still spoil her too much." Dream jokingly complained, petting her. 

"You're just jealous."
