Royalty (Karlwasnotnap)

When George was younger he was one of those rambunctious children who couldn't sit still or shut up. But now he was getting married to a princess and he had to behave right, he had even come to love the royal life. That's at least what he told himself. George and princess Amelia was throwing an engagement party. 

"Omg! George!" Karl called, running up to him when he saw the brunet. 

"Karl." George said, looking him dead in the eyes and bringing his hand out. 

"Hey.." Karl said now sounding sad, shaking hands with his ex-best friend. Sapnap and Dream was standing behind Karl before walking closer to the two, also shaking George's hands. 

"Congrats George." Dream said, trying not to let his emotions get in the way. 

"Thank you Dream. It's nice seeing you again." George said the last part directed at the three. 

"So where is the lucky girl?" Sapnap asked looking around for princess Amelia. 

"She's talking with the ambassador of Spain. If you guys say hi then please be proper, okay? I don't want to make her or her family look bad." George pleaded, knowing the boys could be quite chaotic. 

"Of course." Dream said, smiling back at George.

"Are you happy here George?" Karl asked, hoping that maybe he wasn't. 

"Yeah, of course I am. I'm engaged, I have this beautiful fiancé, how couldn't I be?" George said, trying his hardest to get an honest smile out of him. 

"We miss you." Sapnap said, blurting the words out. 

"I have to go. The king wants us to take family pictures." George excused, before walking away to take pictures with his in-laws. 

"Sapnap." Dream said, opening his arms for the younger to fall into. 

"'m sorry.." Sapnap whispered into Dream's chest. 

"Don't be, we all miss him." Karl said comforting the younger. 

Throughout the dinner George couldn't help gaze at the boys, who were joking around with each other and smiling through the whole meal. It gave George butterflies in his stomach, being with them again, he knows they love him, as Dream was about to give his throne up for him. 

When George saw Dream get up to use the bathroom, the smaller boy quickly excused himself, following after the blonde into the bathroom. 

"Dream, can we talk please?" George asked, grabbing the blondes hand to hold him in place. 

"About what?" Dream asked, his voice sounding soft. 

"About what happened?" George almost asked. "I wanna apologize." 

"George it's fine, I get it." Dream waved off, taking his hand back from George's grasp. 

"No Dream, you don't." George said, taking a deep breath. "I was scared." George admitted. "You were new to me and with everything going on I was scared to take a chance." 

"George, really you don't have to explain it. It's okay, my parents approved of us anyway." Dream said, trying to walk out. 

"They did?" George asked. "Your parents are alright with you dating Sapnap and Karl?" 

"Yeah, I guess they always knew I wasn't straight." Dream said laughing at his statement. 

"My mom didn't.." George blurted out, letting it hang in the air. "She didn't approve of you, I mean."
