PERCY!!

"Wow" i said as i watched Annabeth read a book. I mean, come on! She was turning a page every minute!! Thats fast!!
We sat under a tree at the edge of the woods.

Annabeth chuckled as she looked up from her book "Stumped, Seaweed Brain?" She said. Then she started talking in a baby voice as she started pinching my cheeks. "Awe, Does wittle percy-wercy need a nappy?"

I sarcastically laughed as i swatted away her hands. "No, its just you wanted us to read this book together and you're already on page 50 and im on page 10..."

She just laughed. "Are you intimidated by me?" She said with a smirk.

I playfully rolled my eyes ad scoffed. "Yeah right"

We sat in silence for a while before Annabeth sighed. "I still can't believe it!" She said with a close of her book.

"What?"

"I can't believe that Euphoria is a daughter of Melinoe." She said. "I didn't even know she had kids."

"Wonder who the lucky guy is.." i said, sarcastically. I started remembering the time i met her. It wasn't fun.

"Im not sure" she replied, probably not catching on to my sarcasm "but she could be dangerous. Very dangerous. Probably more so than Nico. Remember, her mom can cause ghosts to roam the earth and torment people maybe she can too"

"Dang, remind me to never cross her. I have my own ghosts to deal with, thanks."

"This isnt a joke, percy! You're almost as bad as leo!" She said.

"What about me?"

We looked up to see leo, jason and piper walking to us. Leos the one that spoke. They sat down across from me and Annabeth.

"Nothing. Just discussing this book" Annabeth lied.

Leo looked unconvinced but let it go. "Bros you know the new girl right? The female nico?" He said.

"Thats mean to call her that, Leo." Piper told him.

Leo shrugged.

"Yeah, we met her" i said. "Why?"

"Well, apparently she is staying in the hades Cabin with Nico since her mom doesn't have a cabin" Jason said.

"Wait, really?" Annabeth asked, staring at them skeptically.

"Yeah! Lets hope they don't make weird dead babies or something" leo said.

"Get your head out of the gutter, Leo" piper said. "And besides, i think its good for them. They both seem lonely. And, Leo, if you forgot, Nicos gay."

"He's pansexual" leo said. "He's into girls too"

Piper shrugged. "Still. He just got out of that relationship with Will, I doubt he wants to jump into another one."

"Go ask him! Use your charmspeak! Make him say if he likes her!" Leo said.

"No. Thats too far leo." I said. I may like a practical joke. But toying with someone's feelings is mean. Especially nicos. He kinda scares me when he gets angry.

Leo shrugged in defeat. "Whatever. Its a good idea! Anyway she got out of the infirmary today after she tried to kil-"

"Leo, just say after her accident" Annabeth interjected.

"Oh, ok, sorry. After her accident." He corrected as he looked at Annabeth for approval. Annabeth just nodded. "And she looked awful. Not trying to be mean, it just looked like she hadn't eaten, slept, or showered in weeks."

"Maybe she hasn't" piper said.

"Personally, i think shes a little loopy" Leo said.

I sighed. "Maybe she has a reason to be. I mean, not everyone can cope like us, Leo. If you call what we do coping, any how."

"Guys! Can we move on? This topic is a little too close-" jason said, nodding towards our right.

There euphoria was, looking at everything like it was the best thing since sliced bread. Not gonna lie, she probably did have a new found respect for life. After almost dying and all. She was walking around and looking at trees....for some reason.

She spotted us and hesitated. Annabeth waved her over and euphoria finally walked over. "Hello, everyone!" She said softly with a little wave.

"Hi!" Piper said, standing to greet her. "Im Piper!" Piper stretched out her hand.

Euphoria nodded. She didn't try to shake pipers hand. She just looked at it.

Piper looked around awkwardly as she lowered her hand and continued.
"And this-" piper started introducing leo and jason. "Is Leo Valdez and Jason Grace!"

"Hi" euphoria said, nervously.

"Here, sit." Annabeth said, patting the ground beside her.

Euphoria hesitated but did. Piper sat back down as well. Euphoria was now wearing a black Paramore t-shirt and black skinny jeans. She had a jacket on so we couldn't see her arms. But I could see the bandages peeking out on her wrists.

"So, uh, why did you all want me to sit with you?" Euphoria asked us. She fiddled with a string on her pants.

"We just wanted you to" piper said. I think she may have put a bit of charmspeak in her words cus euphoria seemed a little dazed now. But she nodded to pipers words.

"How is your...uhm, wrists?" Leo asked as piper elbowed him in the side.

"You cant just ask someone something like that, leo!" Piper said, trying to whisper. Everyone could hear though.

"No," euphoria said. "Its ok. They still hurt when a certain amount of pressure is applied, but other than that, their ok."

Leo nodded and looked at piper with a "told you"
Look on his face.

We talked for a bit before she said she had to go. She said she was tired. Man, to be honest, I seriously misjudged euphoria. She was really nice and shy and sweet.

AN: sorry for this crappy filler. Its for character development and to kinda introduce everyone to each other.
