Getting him back

Alex's P.O.V.
(Next day)

Tonight i get Daryl back. I'm excited and scared. Excited because i miss him, scared because i don't know what he was told. I don't know if he was told about what a monster i am or if he was just held in a room or something all day.

"Did you find what you needed for you know tonight?" Beth whispered at my side. 

"Yea." I say holding it in my hands.

"I now see why you took it." Beth says looking down at it.

"It was supose to help for the pack house," i whispered pack house, "but then the world went to hell and here we are."

"I want to go with you tonight." She says.

"I don't know. " i say looking down at her.

"Please, I'll stay out of the way i just wanna help." She begs.

"You have to stay close to me," i say pointing a finger at her, "these wolves wont hesitate to kill you. They are willing to do anything to anyone I care for to get their stuff back."

"So you care for me?" She ask with a huge smile.

"Yea i mean your my first friend." I say in a duh tone.

"Ok sence I'm your friend and friends tell eachother everything you have to tell me your name." She pokes my stomach.

"Alex ok," i say, "happy?"

She smiles and nods her head. 

-at sunset-

Beth met me at the doors and we easily sneak out. I held the gem in my hand as Beth walked quietly beside me.

"Beth no matter what they say you don't listen to them," I say glancing at her, "only listen to Daryl and I. Ok?"

"Ok." She says.

I knew we were getting close so i took Beth's hand in mine to make sure she stayed beside me.

"Alex." Walter smiles as we come into view.

I don't say anything only nod my head to him.

"Do you have what i want?" He ask.

I nod my head and he outstretched his arm to grab it but i put it behind me. "Daryl first." I growled.

"Willis bring the man." He calls behind him.

'You brought your wife?" I question.

"Of corse she grew an...atgachment to him and hated to see him go." He responded.

"Do we have to give him to her?" Willis questioned coming into view with a scafed Daryl in her arms, "He was a fun human."

"Give him." I growled.

"New wolf?" Someone says behind me.

I turn to see Kyle eyeing Beth. "Yea." I growled at him pulling Beth closer to me. Beth has on an old shirg that was in mh bag so she smelled like a wolf instead of human.

"I didn't notice her back there," Walter says giving an evil grin, "Hello pup."

Beth was quiet. "Go with it." I whisper so that only she could hear.

"Hi." She croaked out.

"Give him to me." I growled at Willis.

"You still have something of ours." Walted points at the clear crystal in my hand.

"Daryl first then you get your danm crystal." I growled getting irritated.

"Willis." Walter says looking back at her.

She stands on her toes and kisses Daryl's cheek. "Maybe we can meet up and have some more fun." She runs her fingers lightly over his area before pushing him our way.
I drop the crystal and Beth's hand and caught him before he hit the ground. A wolf ran up beside us and snatched the crystal off the ground.

"Did you come to give us the pup too?" Ask a random person behind Walter.

"No," I snap, "She came for help that's all."

I help Daryl off the ground and i get the rag that was tied around his head off and cut the ropes off.

"Maybe this will teach you not to steal anothers property." Walter says holding the crystal tightly in his hands. He quickly turns and disappears into the night.
