A/N: A quick write for class. Please enjoy this teeny tiny bonus story!
The sand digs between my toes as I stare out at the vast ocean. My swim trunks on and ready for a swim, the color blue and black like my eyes.
"Have you seriously never been to the beach?" James asked me. "Because with those wide eyes it seriously looks like it, Daniel," He laughs that wonderfully childish laugh of his.
"I was never interested!" I defend myself. "Being a demon means you have better things to do!"
"Yeah, like visit cat cafes and eat burritos very messily!" He puts emphasis on very, with yet another laugh.
The ocean is wide open, with the shore carrying many scattered rocks. A crab walks by, and I jump behind James before it can pinch me.
"Shall we swim?"
I nod, "Beat ya to the water!" And with that, I'm off like a bullet. Demons have increased stamina, so suck it James!
"Wait up!"
