L POV

"Does this mean we can head back to the base now?" I asked.

"Yeah! Let's get outta here!" Kane and Stacey shouted. All of us retreated into the vents and headed to the front door. It was guarded by 3 workers, armed with guns. We regrouped at the house and came up with a plan.

"What if we go to the hole where Kane escaped last time?" G suggested.

"Did recon, they sealed the hole, and angle grinders are now under strict selling standards," Kane replied.

"Maybe we can escape via cold storage? They have to get the bodies in there somehow." Bethany interjected.

"There's no way outside from there." A replied. "What if we just use our claws and destroy our way out?"

"Never use destroy as a verb ever again. But that will likely work." Stacey replied as we all went to the colony edge. Peter's corpse was still there surprisingly, and the hole nearby was sealed completely. Nothing that A and I could not take care of. We cut out a new hole, and G kicked it out. Stacey, I, G, and A went outside, followed by Kane. Bethany and Jennifer seemed unsure of what they should do.

"This is your last chance to turn back. You can either head back to the colony, or join us!" Kane informed them. Instantly, they ran towards us, away from everything they ever knew. It was kind of scary how fast they threw away everything to join us. Since I, G, and A could not carry Kane, Stacey, and Bethany and Jennifer, we had to walk over there.

"Some of these ruins look pretty cool!" Stacey announced as she gazed up at a semi-circular tower. Many of the glass panes were broken, as this was the tower Kane drove on.

"We have to turn right here." G informed as he turned to a destroyed retail street. The same street that the Base was on. As we walked past, we found the plane wreck that G and Kane flew some time ago. Many dead workers populated the stores, dead and dry. As we turned right, we finally saw the Base, still looking exactly as it did when we left. I and G immediately flew into the second floor, while Stacey and A went in the front door. Kane and Bethany went in the back, while Jennifer went through the lower window.

"This place appears packed!" Jennifer remarked.

"Yeah, there are seven of us living here now!" A replied, sitting down on his bed. Jennifer went over and sat down with him, and started talking to him. I and Bethany started searching through boxes, while the rest of us sat down.

"What is 'Twister'?" I asked, pulling out a colourful box.

"You found a board game! Twister is where you spin something, and you have to place one of your four limbs onto the specific colour." Stacey replied as she took the box from L and started setting it up. We all got into position except G, who was spinning the spinner.

G POV

"Right Hand Red, L"

"Left Hand Green, Bethany."

"Right Hand Yellow, Kane."

"Right Leg Yellow, A."

"Left Leg Green, Jennifer."

"Right Hand Red, Stacey."

"Right Hand Yel- maybe we should stop playing Twister now," I uttered as I looked at Kane above L, and Bethany tripping A.

"No, we must continue," Jennifer replied. "Spin the thing!"

"Left leg... Yellow. Jennifer."
