"On the twenty fourth of December, the Curse User known as Suguro Geto has organized a 'Hundred Demons Night Parade'. He will unleash one thousand Curses of various grades in both Shinjuku and Kyoto to eliminate all Non-Sorcerers," Ijichi explained. I was sitting between my father and Principal Yaga on the floor of a meeting room along with several other Jujutsu SorcererHigher-Ups. "Because Geto has been collecting and consuming Curses for several years, we believe that his stated number of two thousand is not a bluff."

"However," Principal Yaga groaned in frustration. "Majority of the Curses he consumed while enrolled here at Jujutsu High were below grade-two. And it's impossible for him to have any more than fifty Sorcerers at his command."

"But you need to realize that Suguru would never declare a war he knew he'd lose." Gojo said.

"Summon all Jujutsu High alumni!" Yaga ordered. "Gather the three Clans. This is war. This is where we exorcise the Curse User known as Suguro Geto!"

"Stay in your room, stay hidden, stay quiet. I need to go. I can't be here to protect you anymore." Gojo said to me after the meeting. "When the day of the 'Hundred Demons Night Parade' arrives I need to make sure you're safe. Though it's unlikely he'll go against his plans and attack the school, I need to know where you are regardless. You will stay in your room with the doors locked and the blinds drawn. Keep the lights off so that the first years don't go looking for you. Do you understand?"

"No."

"I'm sorry?" he said. "Akari, this isn't the time for games. I won't be there for you. I need you to promise me you'll be safe-"

"No!" I yelled. Several executives looked in my direction and muttered amongst themselves. "I'm not going to hide anymore! What was the point of bringing me to that meeting if you won't let me fight?"

"I only brought you because you were representing the fourth Clan-"

"Exactly!" I said. "I am a member of the Elite Kobayashi Clan Sorcerers! I will not stand by and watch while people get killed!"

"Akari-" he started.

"No. I believe I am capable of fighting. Let me fight!" I begged. "Please!"

"Let her do it," the voice of Principal Yaga said from behind me. I turned to look at him, shocked. "She's capable, Satoru. As the representative for the Kobayashi Family, she is officially an important part of this war. This will need to involve every Sorcerer we can get our hands on."

"She has zero training-"

"That's not true," I said. "I've been training by myself like you've told me to! I'm getting better! I can do it."

"You're just a kid-"

"I'm fourteen!"

"She's capable, Satoru," Yaga said. "Let her do as she wishes to aid us in the upcoming battle. We'll need her."

Date - December 24, 2017. The day of the Hundred Demons Night Parade.

Location - Tokyo Jujutsu Technical High School.

It was time. Everyone had already left Jujutsu High. Everyone except for Gojo, Okkotsu, an unnamed first year, and myself. But Gojo and I were expected to be at one of the two targeted locations, and would need to leave campus sooner than later.

"Okay. Are you ready?" he asked me. I gripped my fans tight in my hands and nodded.

"Wait," I said. "What about Okkotsu? If your friend is after him, wouldn't he come here?"
