(The Next morning)

(Maria Pov)

The glimmer of sunlight shined down onto me, as I felt the warmth of the sun shine down on my eyes.

As the light grew even brighter, I covered my face under the covers. Until the bed started to move around. Making me jump up and down, trying to wake me up

"Mmngg...noo..a couple more minutes por favor.." I whispered, once again drifting into my sleep until the bed jumped, making me fall off the bed, waking me up quickly

"Oww..! I got it. I got it, I gotta wake up" I tell the Casita, making the Casita make happy noises until it went back to its usual

I rolled my eyes and sighed heavily, as I look over the window to see the sun has already risen from the mountains,

Stretching my arms wide, I yawned and heard footsteps walking outside my room, before the doorknob started to turn

I than look over to see Julieta in my view, her smile widen brightly

"Goodmorning Maria, how was you're sleep?" She asked before reaching for my hands. Helping me stand

"Well, so far it was nice. Expect for the part we're the bed made me jump into the air and making me land onto the floor. Like a ball." I tell her Looking back at the Casita, making happy noises. As if proud for doing that to me

"Hehe, well if you are fully awake. Will you please join us for breakfast?" Julieta asks me, I smile over to her with a nod

"Of course. I'll just dress fast and I'll meet you downstairs" I tell her, she nods and walks back outside my room

"The bathrooms is to the left if you need it, we'll be outside" she tells me before closing the door behind her

'Welp, start my day with breakfast...I wonder how Mirabel slept. I hope she's feeling better than how she was yesterday' I thought to myself before grabbing my stuff and started to dress up properly

(Time skip when everyone was outside)

As I finished my own business, I walk outside with a plate in hand. As I see everyone else almost take a seat. I quickly grab what breakfast they made and walk on over to them

"U-um, seat for one more?" I asked, feeling a little shy for why I was here

"Of course! Come on, Come on! Take a seat!" Felix, Pepa husband says cheerfully before the house brought out another chair as I was seated next to Julieta. I smiled and walked over to my chair, Julieta handing me juice. I smile over to her as a thank you, as we than turn to see Abuela Alma look over to me, as she nodded to me

I smile back, nodding in return. Letting her speak.

"Now, we can continue on. Since we know have a new gift in the family. I am sure we can now--" before Abuela Alma can finish, we suddenly hear a smack on the table and a yell coming from Mirabel

"You do!!" Making us all startled, we turn to see Mirabel point over to Luisa. As we all stare on confusion over to Mirabel and her shouting

"Mirabel!" Abuela Alma calls for Mirabel, getting her attention to her Abuela

"If you can't pay attention, I will help you." Abuela tells Mirabel

"Oh, actaully--"

"Casita!" Abuela Alma ordered the house, moving Mirabel over right next to Abuela to listen in better for Abuela Alma announcement

"As I was saying, we must never take our miracle for granted, so today we will work twice as hard." Abuela Alma says before Mirabel agrees before trying to get up from her chair
