Understanding or Possessive?

In study room,

HM- gud ki chikki khayenge? Maa ne banayi hai (She asks while forwarding a piece and sits near him on a chair)

Anubhav takes it and resumes his work. His facial expressions clearly tell he is tensed. But Haseena avoids questioning. She doesn't want to add to his stress, it might be something related to IB he is forbidden to share.

HM- der tak kaam karenge? Hum coffee banakar laaye?

AS- nahi...hum ek- aadhe ghante mein aa jayenge sone...(He answers without making an eye contact, she sighs)

When he doesn't speak for about 10 minutes she decides to leave him alone for work.

AS- Haseena please yahi baith jaaiye na khuch der...lekin humse abhi koi sawal mat puchiyega hum jawab nahi de payenge

HM- matlab baadme denge na? (In a light hearted way, but he gives an irritated expression) hum mazak kar rahe hai...

She sits again, propping on her elbow. He was silently doing his work and she was looking at him, plainly. Little did she realize that she had started gaping at him. Her heated gaze made him feel things for her.

AS- Jaana please, aise mat ghooriye humme...

HM- kyu? Khuch Khuch hota hai aapko? (She smiles and speaks this to lighten his mood)

AS- Bahout khuch hota hai...(He gets a desire to kiss her and leans a little but backs off remembering the day's incident) aap humme disturb kar rahi hai... (He says in a excuse)

HM- acha acha...abhi hum koi ched khaani nahi karenge...aap kaam karlijye apna
(She lays her head on the table, slowly slipping to sleep)

Anubhav gets lost thinking about the conversation he had with his boss.

Flashback.

AS- dekhiye sir aap hume khuch samay deejiye...hum koi na koi raasta nikal lenge is paristhiti ko kisi alag dhang se hal karne ka...

Boss- Anubhav, samay nahi hai humare paas...pehle hi is case me kaafi samay nikal gaya hai...

Isliye humne tumhe is pyaar- mohbaat se door rehne ko kaha tha!

AS- Sir is baat ko abhi rehene dijye (He says maintaining his temper)

Boss- Rehene hi toh diya hai kabse! Tumne sagai karli department ko bina bataye!

AS- Department ko batana zaruri nahi hai sir! Humne jitne avkaash liye uss samay IB ko humari avashyakta nahi thi...humari sagai ne aapka koi kaam nahi atkaya! (Angrily)

Boss- lekin jo abhi baadha ban raha hai uska kya? Pehle toh tum aise kabhi peeche nahi hat te the!

AS- kyuki abhi hum ek prem sambandh me hai,...aur agar humne unse ye baat chupayenge toh ye unhe ek tarha se dhoka dena hi hoga!

Boss- Jitna tumne humare under kaam kiya hai tum kabhi bhi iske ke paksh me nahi the, lekin kisi na kisi tarha aapni baato se sach ugalva lete the...lekin is baar tumhe galati hone ke dar kyuki koi tumse pyaar karta hai! Tumhare saath ek jazbaati rishte mein hai!

AS- (thinks for a while) aapke aur humare beech is vishay pe kabhi nahi ban sakti...hum is baat ko yahi khatam karte...ye karye hum pura karenge...lekin humare tareeke se...teen din baad aapke paas sabut ya information jo bhi hai vo hogi...lekin is dauraan hum aapko report nahi karengi aur na hi aap humse khuch puchenge...
(He looks at his senior he neither retorts nor agrees. AS knows that IB requires him at the moment and they won't deny his condition so he salutes and leaves without talking further)
