CHAPTET SIX

DEANS POV.
"Ashley are you okay" I asked her.
"Dean I'm nervous. What if something's broken" She looked up at me
"Have you ever had a broken rib?" Dr.Shay asked
"I don't know this is my first time at a doctor" Ashely said
"Well the ultrasound isn't showing anything but this little dot shows a baby that was killed when you fell. So you were pregnant but now your not." The doctor said
I looked at her. She looked shocked and scared.
"So I'm not pregnant?" Ashley asked
"Not anymore" Dr.Shay said "Ashely I would like to ask you a few questions."
"Okay" She said
"Why is this your first apptment? Have you ever been abused? And finally were you raped?" Dr.Shay asked
I saw Ashely let a tear slip down her face. She just nodded and kept crying. I held her hand. The doctor wrote something down on his clipboard and walked out.
"Ashley it's okay" I said
"No it's not" She cried
"Ashely" I said
"It's not okay!! I was raped and I was pregnant!! Wesley killed a baby!! I'm happy that I'm not pregnant but not at the same time!!" She yelled standing up
"Ashley calm the fuck down. You're not going to have a baby. that's a good thing. You were raped and beaten not your fault. Please Ashely just breathe" I grabbed her hand
"Why do you even care so much I remember when you hated my guts because I looked at you wrong!! You had a perfect life!!! I know you really don't want me in your life!! You're only being nice to me because you have to!!" She fell to the floor crying
"Ashely that's not true. I'm not perfect. I do want you here. You haven't ruined my life at all. And I don't have to be nice I want to be nice to you. You're a sweet girl." I bent down
"Shut up Dean" She turned away from me
"Ashley" I said
"What?" She asked
"Let's go the doctor will call me" I stood up.
Ashely stood up. We walked out and met Dylan.
"Hey guys" He stood up
"Let's go" I said
"Can we go eat I'm hungry" Ashely asked
"YeahI guess we can"I said
Ashely smiled a little. We all got into the truck and started to drive.
"Ashely can I ask you something?" I asked
"Yeah sure" She answered
"What happened the night you got raped?" I glanced at her
"I came home from school and my father threw me to the floor and started to kick me. I finally stood up and yelled at him. He walked out of the room and made a phone call I only heard part of it. The next thing I knew I was hit really hard on the head knocking me out. Right before I closed my eyes I saw a man come in. Next thing I knew he was inside me. My father was watching. He was smiling. I started to scream but my father got up and covered my mouth. When he was done he left like nothing happened." She explained
"I'm so sorry" I said
Dylan looked pale. "what happened to you? Why were you abused?"
"Dylan my brother left and my father accidentally hit me and then he though it was fun. He started doing it every morning and every night." Ashely took a deep breath
"Why didn't you tell anyone?" Dylan asked
"I was scared" Ashely looked embarrassed.
"We're here" I said getting out of the truck
ASHELY'S POV
"Yummy Food!" I said
"This has the best pizza ever" Dylan said
"Hey Dylan why don't you go order food for us" Dean said
"Okay" Dylan walked inside
"Ashely I'm sorry. Talking to us must of been hard" Dean looked down at me
"No I'm glad I did. I feel better now." I smiled
"Good" Dean smiled back "let's go eat"
We walked in and got pizza. We laughed and talked. When we got home Mrs.Kea was freaking out.
"Ashely Dean do you want to tell me why you guys went to the doctor and I got phone call about Dr.Shay wanting to do a mental test on Ashely" Mrs.Kea asked
We looked at each other.
"Well" I said "Dean you explain"
"You see Ashely got hurt at school so I took her to the doctor and there were signs of previous abuse" Dean said quickly
"Dr.Shay said that Ashley got hurt here" Mrs.Kea sat down
"Mom we can explain" Dean sat down as well
"It was a pre-existing injury and I fell and it got worse so I was afraid to tell you so I asked Dean of he would take me so that we could see how bad it was" I lied
"Well next time tell me Ashely." Mrs.Kea said
"Okay Mrs.Kea I promise I will" I smiled at her
"Dean please leave I want to talk to Ashely alone" Mrs. Kea liked at Dean
Dean got up and left.
"Ashely please call me Mary" She said
"Okay" I smiled
"Ashely the Doctor told me that you had a miscarriage" Mary said
"Yeah but I'm glad I didn't want a baby" I said
"Ashely the doctor said that you were raped" Mary looked at me
"Yes I was and I got pregnant but I had a miscarriage oh well big deal" I stormed out of the kitchen and into my room. I slammed the door shut. I went and layed down on my bed.
