Y/n’s POV:My eyes snapped open and met the dark ceiling above. My eyebrows furrowed, noticing the interior design of the room different from mine. I tried to sit up but felt a weight on my stomach.
The hell?
An arm was lazily on my stomach, my eyes traced back to the arm’s owner. A very sleepy-knocked-out Bakugo lay next to me at some appropriate distance. I blinked and immediately remembered the events that took place not to long ago.
He must have dragged us both to his room.
I sighed and grudgingly sat up, noticing the empty glass of milk on Bakugo’s side, placed neatly on the nightstand. I smiled unknowingly at that until my ears perked up at the sound of someone outside the bedroom door.
CREAKKKKKKK
The door slowly opened and I was about to scream until I saw the skeleton head peeking in with a hand covering his eye sockets. I chuckled at the innocent gesture and my defenses lowered as I beckoned Grimm to enter. Grimm being very light on his feet, gave a glance to the knocked out prince on the bed, and edged towards me. He leaned forward,
“Someone… is inside ….the castle.”
My defenses immediately came back up, “An… intruder?” Grimm nodded and suddenly the sound of furniture being knocked over and glass smashing echoed throughout the estate.
I immediately tensed and turned towards Bakugo who was awake, staring at me. A sense of relief washed over me knowing he’s up. He slowly got up, adjusting his undershirt while I respectfully looked away.
I’m such a gentleman.
“Bakugo… did you hear that?” I whispered and he lazily nodded, getting to his feet and moving towards the door, “Stay here.”
I scoffed, “Yeah sure ‘stay here’ because you know the estate as well as me right? No way you’ll get lost or even better, what if I’m dying in cold blood until you return-EEEEEK!”
He yanked me up grabbing my collar and dragged me towards the door, “Lead the way then oh noble one.” I gulped and slowly opened the door, peeking to see if the coast was clear, I was being very cautious until Bakugo kicked my ass, completely pushing me out of the door, “We don’t got all day Sherlock.”
“Sherlock really does have the best quirk for this thing though.” I whispered as I tried to stay fearless, “If you’re so infatuated with my butt then you should have said so-”
“I got a better ass than you shut u—.”
CRASH!!
THUD!!
We both tensed up and I tiptoed towards the sound, stopping near the door that used to be Tomura’s study. It used to reek and it always felt like someone would be watching you,
So I had it locked.
But the lock lay on the floor, broken as the rustling inside the room continued. I pointed accusingly at the room and Bakugo stepped ahead, vigilantly walking towards the room and I followed behind. Bakugo peeked in and his body froze. He took a shaky breath and stepped ahead.
The perpetrator froze, his back turned towards us as he slowly turned around, drawers were emptied out, papers scattered everywhere as he rose his hands up in arrest.
A mask was lousily covering his mouth with his hoodie on top. Katsuki’s palm was glowing as he took a stance, “Don’t move.”
The intruder sighed, his shoulders slouching as he did. He kept his arms raised but fisted.
