Prince Alexander's POV

Rɑquel

Getting closer to the barn, Alex could see Mr. Greene walking from stable to stable, checking each of the horses. He knew that he would be awake by now, he was always a early riser.

Hearing footsteps approaching, Mr. Greene looked up and over to the left, and saw Alex walking towards him, so he patted the spotted mustang that he checked on and walked over to the door to meet the Prince.

"What are you doing here, this early? And where are your guards?" He asked worryingly, looking behind Alex.

"Good morning to you too." Alex muttered dryly and sat on an empty crater nearby.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing. I just wanted to get out of the palace. It's filled up with girls, so Brianna got her wish. She's always wanted to have many girls around, to have her tea parties." He rolled his eyes.

Mr. Greene laughs and sits down beside the Prince. "You know, most men would love that. Being surrounded by a bunch of beautiful women."

"I know but it's not my thing. It's Aaron's."

"Your not mistaken there. Your cousin loves the attention."

"Yes, he does."

"...Gemma is preparing breakfast, why don't we head over to the house and have something to eat." Mr. Greene offered, sensing the stress coming off of the young Prince.

"I'm going to jog back up to the palace, but a little snack won't hurt."

Mr. Greene grinned and pat Alex on the back before they stood up, and walked down the barn, heading the other way. When they came out of the barn, they turned left and headed for the small hill a few meters away, which had Mr. Greene's house perched on top of it.

Stepping into the farmhouse, they heard a woman call out from somewhere inside.

"Christopher, is that you?!"

Mr. Greene took of his hat and placed it on a side table then answered. "Yes dear!"

"Have you seen the ground cinnamon. I want to make some gingerbread cookies for tea." The woman call out again.

"We have a special visitor." Mr. Greene said as he and Alex walked into the kitchen.

"Who on earth would be here at this hour- Oh my goodness! Your highness. I'm terribly sorry." Mr. Greene's wife said turning around from the stove before her eyes widened in surprise at seeing the Prince in her kitchen.

"Please, don't worry. Good morning Mrs. Greene, how are you?"Alex smile and walked over to the older woman and gave her a warm hug.

"I'm fine, thank you your highness and how about you?"
