Hey guys I'm back. Thank you for being patient with me and here are 2 new chapters, and btw I won't be posting on a certain day of the week as I work on shifts so once I have the time, I will be posting a new chapter. But I promise to post a new chapter every week and some of you may have noticed my name changed, yes it was done by me just because I want to go by my pen name now. Enjoy.

Alex

Getting out of the SUV, Alex stifled a yawn behind his hand, it was a long tiring but productive day. He and the King had spent half of the day in the capital city with the Prime Minister and other Politicians discussing the food shortage issue in the South Pacific after a massive season of drought swept through Australia and the Polynesia region affecting some parts of Micronesia and the Melanesia region too.

"So, when we'll you be leaving?" He asked his father as they both walked towards his office.

"I don't have a date scheduled for it yet, but as soon as possible. Preferably anytime this week." King Stefan replied then took off his coat.

"I'd like to accompany you, but I can't."

"I know son but you can't leave the competition along, you need to be here too, to see the progress of the eligibles for yourself.

"Yes...I've been to most of the islands and have met the people, even made some friends over there and they are really lovely and passionate people. It's sad that they are going through this."

"It is, even though we come from different backgrounds, speak different languages and have different skin colours we are all human beings at the end of the day and must help one another."

Alex nodded his head in agreement then yawned again.

"Why don't you head to bed? We had a long day today." His father patted his back.

"Yeah, goodnight."

"Goodnight."

Walking away from his father, Alex was heading towards the staircase when he saw his little sister walking down the staircase cradling her pet bunny Baylee in her arms.

"Hey, what are you still doing up this late?"

Sniffling a yawn, she looked down the hallway towards their father's office. "It's midnight, did you and dad just get back from the city?"

"Yes...and you didn't answer my question?"

"Hmm?...oh, I just want to talk to him about something."

"Are you sure that you can't do it tomorrow?" Alex suggested, seeing that his small sister was on the edge of sleeping where she stood.

"I'm-" Brianna let out a yawn, not bothered to cover it up this time. "Okay. I'll talk to him tomorrow morning."

"Come on. Let's get you to bed."

Once Alex returned to his bedroom after leaving Brianna at hers, he immediately went into the bathroom to freshen up before he changed into a pair of his pyjamas then got into bed, falling asleep as soon as his head touched the pillow.
