Shriya's Pov

After the meeting had ended at the Elinor Association, Abhishek and I were headed back to our office while he seemed to be unusually quite, which is very rare for him.

I guess something had happened back there when he had stopped back to have a talk with Arshita as he haven't spoken a word since then and he'd also came out with his coat in his hand which was actually looked soaked wet!

I didn't tried to ask him any questions about how their talk had went because I clearly knew that he was having a quarrel going on in his head right now at the moment and didn't wanted to talk about it, so I knew it was better tke kept shut for now.

We reached back to our office and as soon as we walked inside Abhishek had almost disappeared into his cabin. I just shooked my head while sighing as I went into mine and sat on my chair keeping the file on the table.

I opened my phone and the first thing that my eyes went to was Ishan's number saved on it. Since yesterday the thought of him meeting at that library had been lingering in the back of my head and the way he'd acted back there was something actually pretty unexpected, but strangely in a charming way.

I'd never thought that he would be someone who'd be into reading books at some library. Someone who would hand out flowers just so casually as if it was pretty little habit. And even today, the way he talks, the way he looks at me with those deep eyes and a pretty smile which would tell a thousands of things without even speaking.

I looked at his name again in my phone and signed while shaking my head as I murmured to myself, "Why do I keep getting this strange feeling? What is this guy upto? Am I overthinking or is it something actually strange out of the world thing?"

"God! I'll go crazy at this rate!" I said as I immediately closed my phone and opened my laptop to divert my mind ftom those useless thoughts when, and just when I thought that I was finally getting engrossed in my work my phone beeped with a message.

I tapped on the screen to check the message and shock would've been an understatement because it was Ishan, first I couldn't stop thinking about him and now he also does this, what the hell is going on, I was literally so confused.

I picked up my phone as I opened his message taking a deep breathe.

Ishan- Hey there! I heard there's a new restaurant opened near your office, I was wondering if you wanted to have some dinner while getting off the work today and check it out?

I read the message and I read it again because I couldn't actually believe my eyes, was he really asking me to go on a dinner with him? All of this felt really new to me, and I would also be lying if I said that I didn't felt happy and relaxed when I was around him, but it's just been one time! I don't know what this all means to him but if I get invested in someone, I don't wanna end up ruining it!

I've never dated anyone before so I don't even actually know how all this works and I'm really not sure what I should feel at the moment.

"Dating? What the hell am I thinking? It's just a dinner, as business dealers! Nothing else!" I murmured to myself and I took a deep breathe as I finally typed back a message.

"I'm gonna get my answers today and clear out all these messy thoughts!" I murmured while running a hand through my hair when my cabin's door opened and Abhishek peeped in. I looked at him and he still looked out of it, I guess it wasn't a good day for him today!
