Lucas and Bella kept on walking with Alma until they saw a giant beautiful house.

"Welcome to the encanto maison." Alma said.
"It's beautiful." Bella said.
"What you're about to see now,"Alma said with a sigh, "just don't freak out, okay?"

"Okay.." Bella said confused.

The door started to open on its own and they all stepped inside.
When they were inside, they were flabbergasted.
The whole house was alive, two people were running around and some other people were just chilling.
Windows were moving, closets were opening and closing.

"The magic comes from a candle, a candle that can't be blown out." Alma said.

"So the tale is true?" Bella said.

"I don't know which one it is, but if it's about this, then yes."Alma said with a chuckle.

"I can't believe it," Bella said.

Lucas was just standing there, gawking at everything and everyone.

"Family meeting!" Alma yelled.
And till you know, a whole big family was downstairs in a line.

Lucas didn't like to be stared at, he always thought people were thinking bad stuff.
I mean it's not hard to, it's almost hard to say something positive about him.
He just stared at the ground not wanting to make eye contact.

"I want you to meet Bella and Lucas, they're travellers from.." Alma said looking at Bella.
"Brazil." Bella finished for Abuela.
"They're gonna stay for a while in the guest rooms."

Nobody said anything at first. Till a girl around Lucas his age stepped forward.

"I am Mirabel, I look forward to getting to know you two!" She said while shaking Bella and Lucas their hands.
"These are my sisters Luisa and Isabel." She said, and the sisters gave small waves.

Lucas finally looked up from the ground and looked around, just to see a boy with curly hair stare at him, it didn't last very long because the boy quickly looked away and twists with a curl in his face.

Lucas didn't even notice that he missed half of the introduction until Mirabel was at the very end.

"This is Antonio, my Cousin." She said while smiling at Antonio.
"And least but not least is my other cousin Camilo," she said while giving a satisfied sigh.

Lucas and Camilo hold eye contact again, for a good 3 seconds.

Lucas wondered how old he was, probably the same age as that Mirabel, but how old is Mirabel?
Lucas got backed away from his thought because of his mother.

"You sure do have a big family." Bella said with a smile.
"We do, should I show you your rooms?" Alma asked.
"You really don't have to do this, if you have a stall, or something, that's okay too!" Bella said trying not to be a burden.
"We haven't had a guest in years, it's my pleasure doing this for you." Alma said leading them upstairs.

Lucas followed them, it was nice to have a place to stay.
But it also felt weird to stay in a place with such a big family.
I would just stay in my room most of the time, he thought.

When they arrived to their rooms they were shocked again, they were huge!

"dinner is in 30 minutes! You can have some time to rest."
"Uhm, where are we expected?" Bella asked politely.
"Oh you just go downstairs and outside there's a table, you can't miss it." Alma said.
"Great! Thank you." Bella said, and Alma left.

"Isn't this great?" Bella said to Lucas.
"Yeah." He said while standing by his door.
"Go rest a bit, and maybe pack out some of ur clothes." Bella said.

Lucas nodded and got into his room.
He never had a room like this before, it was beautiful, it had flowers, decorations everywhere.
After looking at everything carefully, he started to unpack some of his clothes.
Maybe he really needed to change what he was wearing, he already wore that for like 2 days.

So he decided to go with some jeans shorts till his knees and a basic white tank top.
He didn't really know what to do till this scary dinner, so he decided to read a book.

He didn't realize he was reading that much until his mother knocked.

"Meet me at the table okay? Take ur time, I am already going." Bella said.

Shit.
He wasn't exactly looking forward to it, especially not to making an entrance.

So he quickly put his book away and tidied up a bit and hoped he wasn't that late compared to his mother.

He got downstairs with a quick pace and looked outside to already see everyone sitting.

"Sorry for being late." Lucas said while looking down again, and took a seat between his mother and Mirabel.

"You were like only 2 minutes late man." Camilo said with a chuckle.

Lucas looked at him until Alma said it was time to eat.
