they all took a seat at the table, it was just them because the older people of the family were at a "grown up" baby shower party or something.

"Guess what I made for you." Lucas said to Camilo.
"Mmm, toast?" Camilo said taking a wild guess.

"Um lindo sanduíche com pasta de castanha!" Lucas said with a grin. (This was Portuguese)

Camilo just sat in silence trying to comprehend what Lucas just said.

And suddenly Mirabel Burst out laughing.
"What? What did he say?" Camilo asked.

"He was saying he made you a sandwich with chestnut paste." Mirabel said with a chuckle.
Camilo looked at Lucas and saw Lucas smiling innocently.

"Just kidding, I made you pancakes." Lucas said as he got the plate.
"Thank god." Camilo said while sighing out of relief.
Mirabel chuckled and sat down.

"Now let's eat!" Mirabel said.

Everyone was eating quietly because, it was really good.
But the quiet had to be ended some time.

"So..where did you learn to cook?" Camilo asked with his head on his hand again.
"Uhm, I helped my mom cook a lot." Lucas said while fiddling with his ring.
"well I gotta say you're better than Mirabel.." Camilo said with a grin.

"Hey!" Mirabel yelled.
"Just kidding!" Camilo said while raising his hands.

"I wasn't." Camilo whispered into Lucas his ear.
Lucas chuckled and ate further.

"Lucas?" Antonio asked.
"Yeah?" Lucas answered.
"I really like the omelet!" Antonio said.
"Oh, thanks." Lucas said while fiddling with his ring again.

Camilo grabbed Lucas his arm and put it in front of Mirabel's face.

"LOOK! That ring looks just the same as Bruno's!" Camilo said oblivious to seeing he almost threw Lucas from his chair.
Mirabel wanted to say something to Camilo about grabbing Lucas his arm like that until she took a look.

"Camil- oh, you're right! Its like identical to Bruno's!" Mirabel said also amazed.

Lucas was just sitting there, awkwardly.

"It even has the little diamonds all over it." Camilo said while twisting with the ring.
"We've gotta let Bruno see this!" Mirabel said.

"I think Lucas wants you guys to let go now." Antonio said calmly while eating.
Camilo and Mirabel slowly looked at Lucas in sync.
Camilo quickly realised what he was doing and got embarrassed.

"Right sorry." Camilo said while 'giving' Lucas his hand back.
"Thanks." Lucas said with a sarcastic smile.

Once they all finished they all helped washing the dishes and clean the table.

"I am gonna go for a swim, anyone in?" Mirabel asked.
"I will go with you, I need to finish this book I am reading." Lucas said while raising a book.
"Camilo, Antonio?" Mirabel asked.
"Antonio can't swim smartass." Camilo said.
"Right..you can learn him how to!" Mirabel said while lightning up.

"Maybe it is indeed time Antonio." Camilo said while patting Antonio's head.
"You in?" Camilo said while offering his hand.
Antonio was doubting, but after some seconds he took Camilo's hand.

Lucas always liked people being good with kids, its an amazing trait to have.
And seeing Camilo being so nice with Antonio made his heart warm up.

And soon as u knew they were all at the river.
Lucas took a blanket and put it on the ground so he could read in peace.

"You made another bikini Mirabel?" Camilo said with a sigh.
"Yes, what about it?" Mirabel said with a sarcastic tone.
"Isn't this bikini number 13?" Camilo asked.
"I need something for every vibe I am in!" Mirabel said convincing.

"Sure, so Antonio, you ready?" Camilo said turning to Antonio.
"Yes!" Antonio said exciting.
"Let's start with the basics." Camilo said.

Lucas was reading an amazing novel, he loved reading.
It was his only chance at getting away from the world.
It was also a great distraction for problems in his life, but now he didn't have any.
It was almost like his life was finally coming together.

Lucas read further as he almost got to the end.

"What are you reading?" Camilo asked Lucas jumpscarey.
Lucas flinched and looked at Camilo.
"The Great Gatsby" Lucas said while showing the cover.
"Never heard of it." Camilo said casually.
"Its really good, you should read it." Lucas said.

"I don't like reading." Camilo said with a grumpier tone.
"Why not?" Lucas asked.
"It's hard." Camilo said getting slightly more embarrassed.
"Maybe you have dyslexia." Lucas said casually.
"Diswhat?" Camilo said with a raised eyebrow.
"Its when you mix up letters and words and it makes it harder to read." Lucas said.

"Maybe." Camilo said.

"Look," Lucas said as he got closer to Camilo, "most people confuse the d and the b a lot, same as the q and the p." Lucas showed the letters in his book.
"Sounds relatable." Camilo said as he was eyeing Lucas mouth moving for a second.
"I can read it sometime for you if u want? And if u have time?" Lucas said while looking at Camilo.

"Sure." Camilo said with a smile.
