Skylar's Pov:
"She's waking up, check her pulse for me one more time, it should be slowing down."
"It's low, should we disconnect her?"
"Yes, she's breathing to much oxygen."
"Ok."
It took me but a single minute to realize I was back into reality. My throat felt extremely dry and when I tried to swallow whatever saliva I had in my mouth, it felt tight and it only added to the pain I was feeling.
The sound of a door opening and closing, caught my attention and because of this, I figured I would try and take a look around.
I tried to open my eyes or move my hands but to no avail, I was too weak.
It cause panic throughout my body and for a minute I contemplated the idea that I was paralyzed.
A few thoughts started to race through my mind however, they were shortly interrupted when I felt a hand behind my neck.
The hand that was behind my neck, lifted it a bit and another hand went to my lips.
I could feel the fingertips of someones fingers however, they were accompanied with a small ball thing. Yet, as soon as it touched my lips, it felt as if it started to melt on them. Shoving the thing into my mouth, the person soon removed their fingers from my lips.
I had no idea what it was however, I knew it was a kind of liquid and it tasted of something sweet. I could feel it go down my throat as I tried to swallow it and the pain I once felt in my throat, left. I wanted more of the substance and as if they were reading my mind, I felt another one go in my mouth.
This time however, it wasn't sweet rather sour, and I could feel my tastebud start to burn a bit. I instantly swallowed it.
I slowly started to part my lips and figured that if I could move my lips, I could move arms.
I was dead wrong.
As soon as I tried to lift it, it felt as if I was being stabbed by 100 needles at a time. I instantly dropped my arm back on the bed that I assumed I was laying on.
"Stay still Skylar, don't move." I heard a voice say.
I decided to obey it since they voice was rather nice to hear.
I felt a hand on my left shoulder, and their other one was behind my head. I could feel someone leaning down against me.
It wasn't long before I could feel their breath linger on my lips and because of this I subconscious parted my lips for them.
Lifting my head a bit, I could feel them breathing into my mouth, something that seem weird to me.
As they continue to blow air into my lips, I could feel a kind of relief from my arms and legs. It wasn't long after that, that I realized where I was.
I was in the palaces' hospital.
Someone had rescued me from Alex's chamber.
My thoughts started to go wild, trying to think of who could have saved me.
The person continued to blow and with every second that pass, I felt my body grew stronger. After a minute or two, the person stopped and I immediately knew he was standing up straight again since I couldn't feel his hands anymore.
It took me a couple of second but it wasn't long after that, that I finally opened my eyes.
The rooms light cause me to squint them however, I was determined to look around.
