Mira's ice age Adventure

Chapter 3

The sloth picked up the baby and walks away as Diego looks down at him and I slowly walk behind him. Then Diego looks up at manny.

Diego- " if you're looking for the humans, you're wasting your time they left this morning".

I rolled my eyes as manny says " thanks for the advice. Now beat it" manny turns around and said to us " all right, I'll help you bring it to its herd" then he looks at the sloth. And said " but promise me that you'll leave me and Mira alone after that" then I said " yes please leave us alone it would be nice and quiet when your gone". Manny and me start walking away with the sloth follows us.

Sloth- " okay, okay deal. Hey, what's you two problem?"

Manny and me- " your our problem"

Sloth- " well, I think you're stressed, and that's why you eat so much" then he turns to me and says " and I think your also stressed because your so grumpy all the time"

Me- "I'm not always grumpy you just make me grumpy with your personality"

Sloth- " yeah yeah keep thinking that and I know you care about me"

Me- " grrr just because I helped you last night doesn't mean that I care about you. I only felt pity for you get it straight sloth"

Sloth- " geez fine I won't"

He looks up at manny and says " I mean, it's hard to get fat on a vegan diet" Diego watches us leave and bicker as he gives a snarl.

Manny- " I'm not fat it's all this fur. It makes me look poofy" I rolled my eyes as I giggle a little. And the baby wave at Diego.

Sloth- " all right you have fat hair, but when you're ready to talk, I'm here". Diego turns around and runs away.

Manny- " what are you doing? Just drop it on the ledge" Then the sloth put the baby on the ledge.

Sloth- " shouldn't we make sure they found him?"

I look up at manny and he looks down at me, we smiled at each other.

Manny- " good idea" he then picks up the sloth and toss him on the ledge.

Sloth- " oh, no, no, No, no, wait, wait, wait!"

The sloth screams as he lands and the baby crawls as the sloth then says with his eyes closed. And his arms over his face and says " don't spear me!" Then he open his eyes and says " oh, this is a problem". Manny and me comes up behind him as manny rolled his eyes and said " now what? Oh, that's perfect". I looked at the destroyed camp and I then see the baby crawling through the camp. And I got a little worried so I walk next to him to make sure he doesn't hurt himself. He then finds a necklace and tries to reach it while cooing and i smiled at him until he tries to stand up and he falls into a basket. And I start helping him.

Sloth- " hey, hey, hey"

I got the basket off the baby and says " I got this sloth I'm not going to let him get hurt". The baby start crawling again as I follow next to him through the camp as manny was walking and looking around too. He spots me and the baby at this little nest bed thing as he use it to stand up and hugs it.

Me- " aww that's adorable"

The baby looks up at manny and he looks back at him with a sad look. As the baby stands up again and tries to balance but he falls into another basket giggling. And I smiled at the baby until I see manny looking behind me and I turned around and growled. As I see Diego standing on the nest bed thing.

Diego- " I told you two they were gone"

Manny- " well, look who it is"

Me- " don't you have some poor, defenseless animal to disembowel?" I said as I stand protecting in front of the baby.

Then the sloth walks in between us and says " oh, they couldn't be far. I mean, they went this way or this way or maybe..."

Diego- " you don't know much about tracking, do you?" He said to the sloth.

Sloth- " hey, I'm a sloth. I see a tree, eat a leaf, that's my tracking" he said as he had a stick in his claws and then he broke it in half.

Me- "idk about that"

Diego- " you didn't miss them by much it's still green they headed north two hours ago".

Sloth- "... ' hey, it's still green. They headed north two hours ago'.." he said as he stock the two sticks in his mouth to look like tooth like Diego's.

The baby moves inside the basket and then made it fall over and landed on a stick that had fish. And it made the fish flys on manny face the baby laughs while clapping his hands. Then I growled a little when Diego comes closer towards me and the baby.

Diego- " you don't need this aggravation" the fish slides off manny face as Diego says " give me the baby I can track humans down a lot faster than you can".

Manny- " and you're just a good citizen helping out, right? And we don't need your help we have Mira to track down the humans"

Me- " grrr that's right so you can go back to your pack"

Diego- " but I have a better nose than you"

Me- " I know you did not just go there cat grrrr"

Diego- " it's true plus I just know where the humans are going"

Manny- " glacier pass, everybody knows they have a settlement on the other side"

Diego- " well unless you two know how to track you'll never reach them before the pass close up with snow.that should be tomorrow, so you could give that baby to me or get lost in a blizzard it's your choice".

Me- " grrrr I know how to track just fine thank you very much!"

Manny stares at Diego and he then grabbed the baby and carry him over Diego who thought that he was getting the baby. And put it in the sloth claws and said " here your bundle of joy we're returning him to the humans". I smiled at manny as Diego look at the sloth and glare at him as the sloth says " aww the big bad tigy wigy get left behind poor tigy wigy" he said at the end as he pets Diego's head. Manny and me was walking away from them as manny said "Sid tigy wigy is going to lead the way. And Mira is going to watch him" Diego looks at Sid and gives him a smile. As Sid smiled back nervously as he runs to us saying " uh...uh oh manny and Mira can I talk to you two for a second".

Manny- " no sooner me and Mira find the humans the sooner we can get rid of mister stinky drool face and the baby too". Sid stood their scared.

Me- " manny's right sloth so you better get used to it"

Manny and me walk away as Diego circle around Sid saying " you won't always have jumbo and the pup to protect you. And when that day comes I suggest you watch your back because I'm going to be chewing it." He said as he walks away.

Manny- " hey Uber tracker up front where we can see you"

Me- " yeah move it we don't have all day"

Sid- " help me" he said scared
