TW: slight Mention of abandonment and starving

Embry jolted awake, panting in fear, every breath being shaky. Embry had been having night terrors ever since the doctor had died, the terror was either the repeating death at their hands or the 'double' talking to them.

Jumping out of bed Embry had almost fell back onto it but refused to let their body fall. They wandered down the stairs and into the kitchen, but not to retrieve food for them self, but for the demon in the basement, a while ago Embry has started realizing that they had been getting skinny, skinnier than a normal kid would be.

They waltzed over to the calendar once reaching it looked down at the letters on the counter; letters from Ryo and Necrotary, Embry sighed, they hadn't opened any, they were afraid of doing it.

Opening the fridge Embry squinted, there was only a few small things left to give the monster, one slice of ham, cheese, mayo and two slices of bread in the bread box, just enough for a sandwich. they've been eating... more every day. they thought to themselves.

They walked slowly into the living room, shivering in fear as they stepped closer to the door and reached for the lock, the carpet below them being hard and dry from the blood stain from the 'incident', as soon as they threw the sandwich down they slammed the door and locked it but not tight, the chain would break immediately if they did.

...

Embry walked through the crowds of people in front of each stand just to be disappointed to get nothing, they had walked for a little around town just thinking, when they had stopped walking they realized that they were at the local train station, they just sighed and walked home.

...

"Well... another day in this hell" They said out loud

They looked down at their clothes the usual, a dark magenta sweater, a pair of baggy pyjama pants and a white apron with a star their dad gave them, they were cover in paint but the red bits Embry couldn't remember if they were just red paint or blood.

Embry looked around the house, it had changed a lot since their parents 'left', it was so big... and hard to clean.

why.. why did you leave so early? I was nine... you said i was old enough... I am.. right? Embry thought eventually falling asleep.
