Embry woke up soon realizing that they had fallen asleep on the couch but noticed there was a blanket on top of them.
"huh... I don't remember grabbing that."They said as if they were talking to someone but the house was empty besides them and the monster in the basement.
Embry did the usual, prepare food and clean that was all they knew how to do.
They walked up to their room and closed the door behind them, Embry walked over to the two friends who were sitting on the floor.
"How are you two today?"They asked as if they would get a response. Embry glanced over to their toy box just catching the big black tentacles dropping back in, they sighed, that also started happening when the doctor died. They knew the house would kill them eventually.
Embry got up and hopped over to the toy bin, the lock they had put on it had been broken, only giving them a taste of what's going to come in the near future.
They walked into the hall and down the stairs thinking; "know what, i'm going to go outside!" Then remembering the last time they said that, Their mother had told them to go help dad find land scapes for a painting... he never got to finish it...
Embry always knew that they could finish it but i was in the basement in their dad's studio.
stupid demon ruining everything. Embry thought clenching their fists and gritting their teeth.
This was turning them sour.. and they knew it.
Fighting the urge to runaway Embry exited the house and looked around. The flowers in the flower bed were dead, maybe mom can help me when she gets home.. oh right It was happy for a moment but turn bitter and sad right after.
Embry wandered into the woods and began thinking; what if i ran away? That thought stuck in their head as they continued mindlessly wandering.
Embry finally snapped out of it when they realized they had hit pavement, they looked around, it was the train station, again? Embry looked up and down scanning the area.
Weird that i ended up here twice while wandering.
Embry turned around. might as well find a quick path here, just incase. They thought to themselves while walking past the 'faceless people entering and exiting the town some people call "home."
A/N; I swear i'll get longer chapters out eventually when i get back to my laptop, it's hard to write on a phone.
