Loveless

Part one

Jack was laying in his bed - thinking about everything that happened to him the last months or Years.
He's supposed to take his fathers role of being the King of Tasore - the Kingdom of the Priests.
<Should I really live my life like he is, giving my whole life to the Kingdom and his people with everything that happened with Elli?>
Elli or Elinor was his wife the best woman he had ever met.
"I should! Even if it's not for me but for her" he spoke loudly into the dark parts of his room or more into his whole existence.
He looked over to his table with the mirrors on it.
"I am so sorry Elli, you should have been here with me being a part of this, I don't know if I can to this without you" while thinking about her his voice cracked and he slightly started to cry over all that happened.
The first time they met - their first kiss - their first night in the room he's in right now.
Her death and everything that followed after that.
While watching his table and thinking about it he saw her- sitting there getting ready, brushing her wonderful hair and appreciating the flowers he got her every day.
<Roses I should get roses> he thought <just to remember her a little bit more>
While laying there thinking his little sister walked into the room,watching him.
"Brother ?" she asked while getting a little bit mad at him for being in bed again "You need to get up now, we need to tailor your cape for tomorrow, you remember ?"
"Yeah sis I know" he said even though his head wasn't even with her in the room it still was thing about Elli.
With her leaving his room he was finally alone again and he stood up for getting ready for the day.
The next four to five hours he did all the preparations for tomorrow being in a whole other world with his thoughts.
After everything was done he was sitting in the dining room with his family eating without being hungry at all.
"What do you want to do now Son?" His father asked calmly respecting his inner conflict with eating and Elli.
"I'm going into the town father I need something, I hope you didn't plan anything for me ?" He said.
His father nods into his direction "it's okay Jack", he said following with a question Jack hoped he wouldn't ask "what do you need?"
Starting his sentence with "I need flowers father, and I want to go out into the town while being a prince for the last day of my life"
His father nods again but Jack saw the anger in his eyes, knowing that the flowers weren't really for him but for her-the woman he never liked.
