Vanessa's pov

I swam to the beach of Neverland. I transformed into a human again and got out of the water. I walked onto the beach. It was so good to finally be back where I belonged. I hadn't been here in over 300 years. I knew that I got powers when I decided to stay on this island, but I didn't learn to control them before I left. I wonder if I still have them? I closed my eyes and focused. I tried to see what happened on the island, like I used to could. I saw that Rumple had separated his shadow from his body and that he gave the shadow his dagger. The shadow flew away to hide Rumples dagger. I focused once again and saw that the  others were about to make camp. I was about to enter the jungle and go to find them when I heard something in the bushes. I turned the way I heard the noise and saw Peter came out from the bushes.

"Remember me Nessa?" He asked.

"Of course I do. I would never forget my twin." I answered. I went to him and gave him a hug. He hugged me back. It was over 300 years since I last saw him.

"We need to talk." Peter said.

"Yeah." I answered.

"I know a place. Follow me." He said and walked into the jungle. I followed him and a while later we got to a tree. Up in the tree was a treehouse. Peter motioned for me to climb up, and I did. He climbed up after me.

"What is this place?" I asked.

"My thinking tree. The boys aren't allowed to go here." Peter answered. We sat down. "Why did you leave the island after two weeks?" Peter asked.

"I didn't leave." I answered.

"What do you mean?" Peter asked.

"The shadow took me away because he didn't want me on the island." I answered.

"Why?" Peter asked.

"I don't know." I answered. I knew that he trusted me, and maybe he would explain to me why he needs Henry if I ask. "Can I ask you something?" I asked.

"Of course." Peter answered.

"Why do need Henry?" I asked. I wasn't sure if he would answer or not.

"I can tell you, but you have to promise you'll not tell anyone else that you know." Peter said.

"Okay, I won't tell them. I promise." I said, and I meant it. If he don't want me to do it, I won't.

"Henry have the heart of the truest believer, and I need to control that belief." Peter explained. I didn't say anything. He continued. "You'll see... I'm dying, and I need the heart of the truest believer to live. If I don't get his heart, I'll die." Peter explained. I immediately felt that I needed to help him. He was my family and I can't let him die.

"If you'll need help, I'll help." I spoke.

"Do you really mean that?" Peter asked.

"Of course I do. I'll not letting my twin die." I spoke. Peter smiled. We spoke some more, and I told him about a few things that I've been doing since I left. He told me about the life on the island. Peter and I agreed on that it was the best if I was with Emma and the others, since Henry don't know that we're here. After we've talked for a while before I walked to the others. I came to them right before nightfall. We talked a little, then headed for bed. Everyone except me were asleep. I saw Emma wake up after a while. She sat up. Emma took her sword and rose. I also rose.

"Guys, wake up." Emma said. No one woke. "Do you hear that too?" Emma asked me in a hushed tone. I nodded. We walked into the jungle.

"You hear that, too?" Peter asked Emma. Emma quickly spun around and pointed her sword at Peter. I also spun around. I knew he would come. "You're Emma, right?" Peter asked Emma. Peter took a step from the tree he was leaning at. "I wonder why they can't hear the crying." Peter said.
