Addie POV
I just saw Mom's car pass by and I saw her looking for me, screaming my name. I hid behind a bush.
That was a close one. Now where was I? Oh yea, trying to get people to give me money.
"Please, I'm hungry, have any change?" I repeated for the next hour. Then I counted up my savings.
$10.37. That's all I got. I need to use it wisely.Abby POV
Mom is on a search for Addie right now. I wonder if me and Addie have any twin telepathy, and how it would work.
I have a feeling I know where she is, but Mom won't listen to me. And I'm still grounded. This is so annoying.
Maybe she'll read a note.
Mom,
Addie is probably at her favorite 711. please believe me. Trust me and look there, but don't do a quick glance. Look thoroughly.
-AbbyThen I put it on the kitchen table without Dad noticing (he is one of those not paying attention dads) and ran back upstairs.
I hope they see it.

Mom is still gone.
Addie must be good at hiding.
I heard the door open, but then I think she read the note and left again.
I really hope we find her, even though I don't want to hear her lecture about running away and treating sisters with such disrespect.
The door opened. I heard footsteps approaching my room.
Mom came in and told me some really sad news.
"I found your sister in the street. She got hit by a car and is int he hospital. we need to go visit her. You need to apologize." She said with some sympathy but also some disgust.
My sisters in the hospital! It's all because she ran away. And she ran away because of me.
My life is scarred forever.
