Addie's POV
Why doesn't Abby want to hang out with me? What differences do May and I have? We're both girls...
Ok, she may be more of Abby's taste, but I don't get it. Maybe I would like to go to the mall with them. Just because I'm goth doesn't mean I don't like the mall, right?
I finally heard Abby enter the house.
"Abby! Hey!"
"Hey Addie."
"Do you ever think I would might want to come with you?" I blurted. She looked surprised.
"I'm sorry, I just thought you might not be into that stuff..."
"Just because I like to wear black doesn't mean I hate fashion. Yes, I hate bright colors. But there are different ways to wear the same color clothing, a different style of clothing, something."
"Addie... I..."
"Maybe ask next time." Then I ran upstairs to my room. I can't believe I just did that.

It was 5:00 when I heard the door open and close.
I was thinking Oh no she did not just leave without saying bye again. So I ran downstairs. It turns out it was my grandmother checking on us.
"Nana!!" I exclaimed as I ran toward her and gave her a hug.
"Hey sweetie. I got a postcard from your parents." she handed it to me.
On the front there was a picture of a palm tree and it said Greetings from Hawaii!! I flipped it over and read what it said:
ⓗⓔⓨ ⓖⓘⓡⓛⓢ!! ⓘ ⓜⓘⓢⓢ ⓨⓞⓤ ⓖⓤⓨⓢ! ⓘ'ⓜ ⓢⓞ ⓢⓞⓡⓡⓨ ⓦⓔ ⓓⓘⓓ ⓝⓞⓣ ⓑⓡⓘⓝⓖ ⓨⓞⓤ ⓦⓘⓣⓗ ⓤⓢ! ⓕⓡⓞⓜ ⓜⓞⓜ ⓐⓝⓓ ⓓⓐⓓ. ⓟⓢ ⓛⓘⓚⓔ ⓣⓗⓔ ⓕⓞⓝⓣ?Then I heard Abby come from downstairs!!
"Hey Nana!!" She said.
"Hi sweetie!! I was just showing your sis a postcard, wanna read it?"
"Sure." Then she snatched the postcard from my hands.
I gave her the look that said: what did I ever do to you?
