Falling In and Out of Love

(Author's POV*)
Today was the day wherein it's the 6th anniversary of Beomgyu and Ryujin. But this time it's not all about celebrating, it's all about their ending.

At Itzy's Dorm -8 am-
"Unnie, where are you going?" Chaeryeong asked Ryujin who's busy getting ready to go somewhere. "I'm meeting up with Beom, for another hangout" Ryujin said as she smiled hiding the truth. "I'll go now Chaer, hm?" She added as she quickly left after waving goodbye to Chaeryeong.

10 mins later ( At Mangwon Hangang Park )
As i finally reached here i quickly go to the spot that was used to be our favorite and we used to go. "What a good weather it is" I thought.

"Ryu???" Someone suddenly called my name as i was about to close my eyes. It's none other than Beomgyu. "Oh hey, i expect you're telling me something important. So what is it?" I curiously asked him. "Don't talk about it right now, let's go roam around first and take some pictures for the last time." He said and slightly smiled. "I really love you my Beom" I thought.

As we keep roaming around the park, we've been silent. "Right, how's mindungie?" I tried to speak to break the silence. "She's doing great, i'm glad she's really happy to be here again in Seoul." He replied. "Should we go there?" He asked and point his fingers towards the spot. I nod.

"Yah, Choi Beomgyuuu! Give me back my shoe." I keep yelling as i chased him. We've been here for an hour because of him. As he asked me to go to this spot he quickly untied my shoe and took it. "NO." He yelled back and keep running.

3 mins later*
"Gosh, you made me so tired just by chasing you." I said and gave him a death stare, as he just laughs loudly. "You know what? This gave me feels of what happened back then" He suddenly speak and stopped laughing.

(Flashback*) Beomgyu's POV
"Shin Ryujinnn! Stop it now, give me back my shoe. Yah!!" I keep yelling while chasing Ryujin. "I. DONT. WANT. TO." She yelled back.
I've been yelling and chasing her, and she's been yelling back and escaping.

1 hour later*
"Choi Beomgyu. Let's go over here" She invited me at the big tree. We sat under it. "Yah, why are we here? Our things are over there" I said and point my finger at the spot where are our things located. She punched me on my left arm, as i shockingly look at her.

"Don't mind our things, i'm going to say something." She innocently said. As i just nod. "We've been together for a month but still haven't had a first kiss right?" She asked me and looked straightly on my eyes. "Ah, so you are somehow asking a kiss? our first kiss?" I replied. "Yes, also who knows how long we will last forever right? We don't know what will be the future of our relationship..." She said softly.

And suddenly she made her first move. She kissed me.

(End of Flashback*)
"You're right, now that we are here in this situation it's hard. It feels like i just wanna go back there" I softly said. "Again" I added.

"At least it still did last long right? Longer than we both imagine?, Maybe time really flies fast and future is future." She said trying her voice not to crack. "I'm sorry. I can explained everything." I said as a tear finally drop from my right cheek this time. "How i just wish this wasn't true you know" I added.

"Shhh, my beom. Junnie oppa already explained it to me. I texted him last night and he said everything what you said to him" She said as she puts her left hand on my right cheek, and smiled. "Right, i did prepare something for you." She said and gave me a something. I quickly open the gift and i was suprised on the inside. It has the ring we bought together. there's also the "love bracelet" we both made. And lastly our photoalbum.

"There's a letter below the gift read it later" She remind me as i was busy looking at the gifts. "Thank you Ryu. I'm really grateful to have you as my first and last love." I said and hugged her.

At Txt's Dorm (Beomgyu's POV*)
"Dear, Beom. (My one and only Bear)
"Beom-ah, this is your girl Shin Ryujin. I wrote this letter obviously for you, Beom thank you for the past years. All of the memories we created, the moments we cherished together. I'm so grateful that you're my first and last love too. Having you was like reaching a star from the sky. You were always the one who make me smile, you were always there to lighten up my mood. You're such a boyfriend material indeed.  I'm still gonna be there for you as you're friend don't worry. For now we are both on ourselves. You and I, will lean not on each other from now on. We will probably lean on someone else's, or just on ourselves. We are not gonna be each other's home anymore. Be happy my bear, as well i am. As our love story will end, I wanna gave you this letter. Our story is almost a happily ever after, it turns out it was really a happy one but we're separated and no endgame after." Shin Ryujin, your forever girl.

As i read the letter i was already tearing up. and now i finished it, my heart was shattered. Still we can't save our love story anymore. It has come to an end.

"Maybe the word "Forever" was meant for memories and not people. This is our story that shows we really love each other that we have to let go."
