*At Everland (Author's POV)*
"Mindungie?" Renjun heard Winter's nickname. Thinking if it's really her. Is it??
"Renjun, you all good?" Yeonjun asks, the other boy just nodded while his head is down. He can't do what he used to whenever his friends checking up on him. "Renjun, heads up..." Sunwoo says as Winter speaks up. "Uhm, Rennie-ah?" Winter calls him his secret nickname. "Heads up, i will also explain." Right after Renjun heard her he follows what Winter said. "Guys, i'll be back." Renjun says to the rest and follows Winter, as she leads the way.
"I have a question, what if we can-" "Why? How? What if?" Renjun cuts off Winter. "Renjun, i was just wondering-" Renjun cuts off her again. "You said you were going to explain right?" Renjun added. "Explain the thing you need to explain, nothing all." Renjun said not even looking at Winter at least once. The silence covered the atmosphere.
*a minute later*
"Win, i'm tired. I'm really tired of hating you. Hating myself. I promised you last time that i'll love and admire you as always, forever and ever, win.. i can't anymore. this is the end of the "forever". i can't insist our relationship anymore win. my faith and love in you and in our relationship, it's fading. i don't wanna pretend, and make you feel stupid win. Thinking i'm still happy, and not tired." Renjun truthfully said.
"That's okay Rennie, it was worth the try right?" Winter asked. "Mhmm, always worth the try." Renjun answered. The silence once again appeared.
Winter moves quietly closer to Renjun and hugged him. "Thank you, win" Renjun says as he hugged her back.
(Winter's POV)
"If it's the feeling that speaks, we can't do anything anymore, i don't wanna hurt you more and even myself. Rennie, thank you" I said. "I never regret anything, even our relationship goes down already, at least we did make it goes up through the whole time." I added.
*a minute later*
"We walked away, not together but individually."
