Ariana goes on a roadtrip with the imortal hybrid. When she returns what will happen? What friendship or relationships will change? (Based on season 3 of tvd)

Ariana spent the night crying and thinking. She couldn't help but pity herself. Stefan was angry with her. She was just now starting to realize how much the whole Damon situation hurt her. Her phone was on silent the whole night after a few calls attempted to ruin her alone time she turned it off completely. No one knew which hotel she was staying at so she knew she wouldn't be bothered further. She fell asleep with tear stains on her cheeks.

Ari woke up to the sunlight hitting her eyes from her slightly parted curtains. She groaned as she rolled out of bed and fell to the floor with a thud. It was what she needed to wake herself up. She just wanted to crawl back into bed and not care about how the world around her was probably going crazy. She turned on her phone to be proved correct. She had a bunch of missed calls from Stefan and one voicemail.
She clicked on it and listened to what the Salvatore. "Ariana I need you to pick up the phone. Rebekah has Elena and is going to kill her if we can't find a way to stop Ester from killing all of the originals. As much as I hate that you're letting Klaus compel you, I just thought you should know." As soon as the message was over she ran to the shower and after she was done she quickly got dressed and left the house.

She stormed into Stefan's room where she found the two brothers talking. "Sorry I'll come back later if it's a bad time." She says quietly as she begins to leave but Stefan heard it in her voice that something was wrong so he quickly replied. "No. Perfect timing actually, Damon was just leaving." Stefan just looks at Damon and he just sighs. "Yeah I've gotta go and prove Ric innocent anyway." Ariana's face turns into one of confusion and Stefan just gave her a look that said I'll explain later.
"Is he.." Stefan knew who she was asking about and shook his head and she smiled. "Hey, are you okay?" "Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" Ariana asked him while plastering a fake smile on her face. "When you walked in and saw Damon you got all quiet and your voice cracked a little. Are you feeling alright? Is there anything I should know?" "No. Thank you for your concern, Stefan, but really I'm fine." "It's just you seem a little off." "I'm just excited to get my memories back. Speaking of which I need to get going." "Wai-" but she was already out the door.

Ariana knocked on the Mikealson mansion door. Her hands shaking slightly. She was nervous standing at the door. Like it had just dawned on her that she was going to remember a big part of seven years of her life that was taken from her. None other than Klaus Mikealson answered the door. "Hello love." "Hello Klaus." "Come in." She walked past him and he watched her move around until she found her spot standing in front of him. "Okay, my memories?" She asks and he just nods. He looked deep into her brown eyes and said "Now, love, you remember."
That sentence triggered what felt to be a light bulb turning on in Ariana's head. She saw flashes of her and Klaus running and laughing in a field. Having long talks. Finding out she was a witch together. They truly did have a strong connection. She saw a memory that stuck out to her. "My father saw me as an abomination. Perhaps he had it right." "You're not an abomination. You're a powerful, wonderful, and honest friend who does everything in his power to protect the ones he loves. You put on a cold hearted show for others but I know that's not you, Nik." He looks at her and smiles.
She gasps and looked at the hybrid before her. She just smiles, begins to tear up and laughs at the same time. "Hello Nik." She ran up and hugged him. He had a look of shock but hugged her back and spun her around while she let out a giggle. "You have no idea how long I've wanted you to call me that." He says into her hair.

Ariana had been staying at the Mikealson mansion for a few days now. The second Klaus found out she was staying at a hotel he practically snatched her and her things out of there and gave her the room next to his. She was there to comfort him when his brother Finn died.
Granted it wasn't hard at all Klaus didn't even like Finn and honestly Klaus felt a weight lift off his shoulders when he found out that Finn was dead. At least now he didn't have to worry about him trying to get them all killed. Klaus forced Bonnie to break the spell that had them all linked. Ariana didn't like that way he did it at all and she in fact yelled at him for doing it.
Ariana visited the Bennett moms house to help her through the transition because she knew what it was like to go from being a witch to a vampire and quite frankly the benefits are not at first worth it when you feel that big magical puzzle piece missing. Stefan was not happy with her for moving in with Klaus but he was just happy she was 'fine' as she put it. Klaus helped her with the break up. She wasn't fully over it yet but she was getting better.
Soon Ariana would have to go back to New Orleans to see Davina. Klaus asked when she would be back and she knew it would be soon. She left Friday and came back early Monday morning for school only to remember that she had a party to plan. Her time in New Orleans was fun as always but cut short by her least favorite day of the week. Monday.

Ari was walking around in the gym and correcting minor mistakes with Caroline by her side. She usually wouldn't be doing this but Caroline insisted that they spend the whole day together and catch up.
Ariana saw out of the corner of her eye Tyler and Matt hanging lights. She didn't know it was possible to hang lights a wrong way until she saw Caroline's face of disgust. "What are you guys doing?" "Hanging lights?" "Not like that you aren't." "What's wrong with them?" "They're supposed to trickle down." The boys just shared a knowing look before beginning to hang them the 'correct' way. Ari shot an apologetic look before following Care away.
She heard a phone ring. Carolines phone to be specific. She listened into the all being that they were planning something. Party planning was on hold. Apparently they were planning on meeting in the woods to 'Discuss how to fry the chicken", which she could only assume was code. She snuck up behind Caroline and when she turned to leave. She bumped right into Ariana. "Whatever you guys are planning on I want to know." "I'm sorry Ari, but you aren't exactly the most reliable person to be involved in this..kind of plan." "You guys are planning on hurting the Mikealsons and you don't want me to know because the one you want to hurt the most is the one I've known for over 7 years and am actually friends with."
"Wha-no! What makes you think that?" "The 'Save Elena Squad' is very predictable, especially when it comes to your actions against the Mikealson family. So tell me what's going on." "Ari I can't-" "You can an you will." "What you're asking of me is-" "To help me protect someone I consider family, which includes you by the way." Ari points to Carolines name on her arm.
"Help me protect my butterflies. Coming after Klaus will only bring you and the people we love hurt." "Fine! I'll help you. Just stop with the guilt tripping already." "Okay then." "I'll tell you everything they say after we meet." "How do I trust you're telling the truth?" "Because you've known me your whole life and you know I'm not a good liar." "Fair enough. Text me when the meeting is over." She smiled, leaving Caroline there wondering what the Mikealsons could have done to her best friend to make her act like that.
