Chapter 1: Party Invite

English was always my worst subject. I just had a really creative idea and story so I wanted to share it with you guys, so I hope even though I may not be the best writer you guys enjoy the story nonetheless.

Theres a weeee bit of romance and tension between you and Link but nothing too crazy, buuutt it does play a big part in the story teeheeee

A few days after Calamity Ganon had been sealed away, you were resting in your small house located in Hateno Village. Once you had finished eating you decided to pass time by relaxing on your balcony and enjoying the clear skies for the first time in ages. As you started dozing off you heard a knock at the door which made you jump. You peered over the edge of your balcony to see who it was.

"Hey (Y/n)!" Link yelled while signalling for you to open the door for him.

You walked downstairs to open the door for Link and invited him in. "Hey Link, whats going on? I thought you were in Kakariko Village visiting Impa?"

"I was, she seems to be doing well and happy that everything seems to have gone back to normal since we finally saved Hyrule!" He said proudly. "Anyways, I came over here to invite you to a party at Zoras Domain that is being hosted by King Dorephan. Its going to take us a few days to get to the Domain so I suggest we leave tonight. What do you say?"

The thought of travelling wasn't very appealing. Considering it had only been a few days since the fight to seal away Ganon, your body was incredibly wounded and exhausted. "Well.. I really dont know.. I have been resting the last few days trying to heal from the fight. Although I don't want to be rude and decline the invite." you sighed as you looked into the mirror, your body looked bruised and beat up.

"Mind if I take a look at your wound?" Link said quietly. You knew it was hard for him to look at your injuries considering the reason that you got so injured was to save his life. As Link was lining up his light arrow to finish off Dark Beast Ganon, he failed to notice that one of Ganon's arms were coming straight at him to throw him off his horse. The second you saw Ganon's arm flying straight at Link and Epona, you decided to run straight into the back of Epona making her run off and and causing Ganon to strike you instead. You dont remember much from there considering he hit you hard enough to almost kill you.

"U-uh sure.." You responded shyly. You and Link were never romantic but it did make you nervous undressing in front of him. You looked at Link to make sure he was looking away then lifted your shirt off and began to unwrap your bandages exposing a huge wound on your back. You covered your chest and began to blush as you said, "Y-You can look now.."

Link turned around, walked towards you and sat behind you. You could feel him examining your wound with his eyes. "Want me to put the healing salve on your wound?" Link said as he picked up the medicine.

"Yeah sure.. Just be gentle please." The town nurses were usually the ones putting on the healing salve so it made you shiver when you felt Link applying the gel. Ever since the fight, Link has been very attentive to you despite the fact he has still been so busy. There was a strange tension between the two of you that you couldn't quite figure out.

"All done, Ill rewrap your bandages for you then we can get going." You lifted your arms and without peaking Link rewrapped the bandages around your chest and back. After he was done he handed you back your shirt and started packing a bag for you.

"So im guessing this means i have no choice?" You laughed as you put the shirt back on.

Link looked at you and smirked, "Mm... No, no you dont." He said playfully. "Plus the Zoras are known for their incredible healing abilities. So I may be doing you a favor forcing you to go? You'd finally be able to meet Mipha's Father and brother, as well as a few others people. King Dorephan and Prince Sidon have really been looking forward to meeting you."

While Link was controlling the divine beasts you were busy finding shrines to collect Spirit Orbs to ensure that you were both extremely powerful before fighting Calamity Ganon and considering you were basically knocked out by the end of the fight, you have yet to meet all of the Champions.

"Alright. Let me pack some clothes and get ready for the trip." An hour passes by and you begin to load your horse with all the things you need for the short adventure there, as well as some extra clothes considering you and Link would be staying at the domain for a few days. "Ready?" You said to Link.

"Yeah! Lets go!" Link exclaimed as jumping on his horse. You both exited Hateno Village and began your adventure on the way to Zoras Domain.
