Chapter One: Why do I have to face this everyday?

CL's POV (Short for Cherry Lyne)

"Cherry! You have to get down here right now! Do you want to be late for school?!" my mom shouted from downstairs.

"Yes yes! I am coming now..." I replied lazily. I got out of my bed and headed to the bathroom for a quick shower. As I finished, I changed into my usual style of clothes. Long-sleeved polo with a checkered vest over it, skirt right below the knee, long pair of socks and sport shoes. Then I braided my hair and wore my thick glasses.

"Morning mom!" I greeted as I went downstairs.

"Morning. How was your sleep?" she asked as she was setting the table.

"It was pretty good. *whispers*until you woke me up....." I replied and whispered but I think she didn't get to hear it.

"Ok. Now why don't you call your father from his office and tell him breakfast is almost ready?" she said.

I nodded and went to his office. Yes. OFFICE. Demonia is the second richest company in the world. Yes. World. But for now, we are here in Canada for my dad's bussiness. Well, I have studied here since my last year of middle school.

I reached my dad's office and knocked on his door. "Come in." he replied as I slowly opened the door CAREFULLY.

"My Princess~ Did you miss me already?~ Come here and give your daddy a hug~" he said as I fully open the door and saw his arms spreading wide open.

"No dad. Mom told me to call you since breakfast is almost ready." I said then he put his arms down and pout.

"Aren't you going to give your daddy a kiss on the cheeks?*pouts*" he said.

"No thanks!" I replied bluntly then headed to the dining area.

I sat down and ate my breakfast.

"Mommy!!!~ My little princess is so cold towards me!~" my dad complained to mom as he hugged her. Is he really my old man?

"Yes yes. Now come here and join us for breakfast." my mom replied calmly as she prepared dad's plate. Sigh.

"If only my queen and princess gives me a kiss~3~" Okay he is my dad alright. He's smart.

My mom gave dad a peck on the lips. Ewwww. "Now Cherry dear. Give your dad a kiss or he wont be able to eat his breakfast.

I pouted. "I dont want to!" I complained. I suddenly had the chills when I can feel a dark aura surrounding my mom.

"Give.Your.Dad.A.Kiss.Now. or Do you want me to cancel all your credit cards?" my mom said while still smiling. Creepy.

"I told you I will give him a kiss! Don't worry mom!" I stood up and kissed my dad's cheek.

He smiled widely and we went back to eating. I stood up and bid them goodbye for I will leave for school already.

"CL!! What took you so long! I have been waiting for ages!!" my best friend Juliet complained as I exited the house and saw her waiting by the gate. She has been the only friend I had ever since I entered highschool.

"Sorry Julie! My dad wouldn't stop bothering me." I said as I exited the gate and we headed to school.

I told Julie to head first to the classroom since I didn't want her to get involved with me in school.

I entered the school grounds and as expected, they started talking about me and throwing random things at me.
