A net suddenly arrives and manages to catch Eevee , Chloe obviously realized it was Team Rocket standing behind them and started to recite their motto which Chloe really couldn't care much about .
" Hey Twerp are you even listening to us "
" No I am not , LEAVE EEVEE ALONE "
" Haha, its not gonna be that easy " Team Rocket said as they called their Gacha machine from which the 2 pokemon arrived were 2 Jolteons .
Chloe having only Riolu at her side protested " 2 against 1 isn't fair "
" You don't get it girl , we are Team Rocket we don't play fair "
Chloe got annoyed but stayed calm , after Ash lend her Riolu for this exact purpose.
They started the battle , Riolu dodged Thunderbolt of a Jolteon and force palmed it , handling 2 pokemon at once wasn't particularly a tough job for Riolu he had done it long ago against Chairman Rose's pokemon but there was a difference
He had Ash with them , while here he had nobody to command him .
After a few blows here and there a Jolteon used Night Slash as Chloe's Pokedex started beeping
" What's the matter ? "
" Jolteon can't learn Night Slash "
Riolu overheard this and attacked the other Jolteon right in the face to realize that it was an illusion
A Zoroark
Riolu started to struggle a bit as Jolteons were one thing but Zoroark was a problem even with type advantage , he looked behind him as he saw Chloe's worried face and started to send her Aura waves to catch her attention
" Huh ?"
" Rio , Riolu Rio "
" You want me to command you ? But I am no battler......"
" RIO"
" Ok ok I will try "
Chloe was confused to say the least , Yamper and Eevee were one thing but she never commanded Riolu before . Then again she had to do something.
" Use Force Palm on Zoroark " he did and it worked nicely as Zoroark slammed into the wall .
They continued to battle and somehow remembering the entire training Riolu did the entire day Chloe managed to battle Team Rocket pretty well
But that didn't change the odds , it was still a 2 vs 1 and he was visibly exhausted then suddenly he got an idea .
" Rio , Riolu "
Chloe couldn't understand what Riolu was saying she wasn't her trainer but after seeing him imitate a move and seeing the pokedex she figured out " Are you sure that's risky ? "
Riolu simply nodded
"Alright , Use Reversal " Riolu's ultimate move as it literally jumped towards those 2 pokemon and used his final reversal which was strong enough to send team rocket flying
" Looks like Team Rocket is blasting off again !"
Riolu used a Vacuum wave on the net in the air to free Eevee who was falling down
"Eevee NO" Chloe shouted desperately
Riolu used all its remaining strength to go climb the wall , jump in the air and catch Eevee in its arms .
Both Eevee and Chloe breathe in relief , Eevee ran at Chloe to give her a big hug .
" Thanks Riolu you were a huge help "
Riolu smiled but started to fall down from exhaustion as Chloe and Eevee could only watch in horror.
" Ri-RIOLU NO"
