"Hiyyih-chan, have you seen Myah?" I turn around and see Yeseo with a worried expression "No. Why are you looking for her though?" I ask, growing worried for the younger girl

Where'd she run off to now? Did she even arrive at school?

"Yeseo... not... to worry.. she's already... at your building.." Mao's voice sounds from the doorway "Oh. Okay! Thanks unni-- Uh- Are you okay...?"

Now that she mentions it, Mao looks exhausted; heavy breathing, beads of sweat running down her face, and her skin's paler than usual "Mao, you okay?"

"Yea..! Just... ran around too much..." She says in between heavy huffs, grinning sheepishly. Yeseo approaches her and touches her neck, seeing as she can't really reach her head. To this, Mao stiffens "Yese-"

"Shut up, I'm checking your temperature" Yeseo cuts her off rudely "Yeseo, manners, sweetie" Miss Haeyoon suddenly speaks up, sitting down on her chair, though, Yeseo doesn't bother answering, a frown visible on her face "Miss, I think Mao unnie has a fever"

"I see. Escort her to the clinic then go to your building, okay? Class starts soon" She instructs, making Mao whine constantly, insisting she's fine but of course, Yeseo's already dragging her away

Girlie didn't even apologize to Miss Haeyoon-

"Hate to say this but I'm sure Yeseo likes her" Jayoon 'whispers' to Yeeun "But isn't she dating Xingqiao unnie?" The deep-voiced pup-like girl replies, confused "Well, yeah but don't you think she's acting a little bit more sweeter towards Mao?" Jiwon adds, making everyone in class hum in acknowledgement

"Can we not talk about this right now? Class is gonna start any minute now" I interrupt, my classmates whine in unison. The bell rung

[Lunchtime]

"Oh? Ye-ching? Why the long face?" Hikaru walks over to Yeseo, embracing the girl. She's right, Yeseo's pouting "Myah ditched me..." She pouts even more "Oh. That's alrig-- wait what?" I look at the others, they're confused too

"Hold on, hold on- you're telling me, the Son Myah, ditched you?" Rei asks for confirmation, Yeseo nods in return "Ha- For who?" I ask "Mao unnie and Suyeon unnie" To think it was possible, her pout grew even more

"Now when did they even start hanging ou-- oh there they are" Hsinwei points to the court. 7 people? "How are you so sure that's them?" I ask Hsinwei, the girl giving me a 'bitch, are you blind?' look "She's wearing my jacket"

"Right~ I forgot she has a habit of borrowing other people's jackets"

"Why is she with them in the first place?" Hikaru questions "Other than the fact that they know each other, of course" She adds. We just shrug and decide not to question it any further

"So that's what you meant earlier..!" I stare at the bunny-like unnie after she explained about the situation earlier

"Yes, I was gonna explain once you calmed down but you and Mao decided on running away instead" She pouts, furrowing her brows "Hehe...sorry" We both chuckle slightly

"In all honesty, I didn't expect any one else to have it" Suyeon unnie speaks up, sighing for the nth time "Yeah. And until when are you gonna keep sighing, unnie?" Jia unnie gives Suyeon unnie a look of annoyance

"Hey! Not my fault that the love of my life is a dense idiot who's too focused on trying to convince her step-sister about how cool our school is!" She whines "Ha! Mine's too focused on her reputation about being part of the volleyball team to even know I exist!" Ruan unnie adds

"You have it easy! Mine's too busy with her adult girlfriend and as the school council president!" Mao unnie jokes, but her emotions must've taken it the wrong way seeing as she's now running to the bathroom, covering her mouth

"Heh. Mine and Jia unnie's are too busy with each other" I shrug "This group's a mess, no wonder you dragged me here"

"Sorry Hyunseo but I had to. You were the first person I thought of" I lean against her shoulder "Unnie, I'm in 9th grade"

"Doesn't matter, at least we have a cute extroverted messenger to keep us in check" Chaehyun unnie voices out, stars in her eyes "How are you so tall for a 14 year old though?"

"Genes, unnie. Genes" Hyunseo replies in a monotone "Ooooohh~" The other unnies decide to join in on the 'adoring the baby Hyunseo's height' chaos "Yeah, I'm sure I'm gonna be asking for help from my unnies but oh well"

"Let's just eat, I'm getting hungry~" Chaehyun unnie leans onto Jia's shoulder, pouting "Okay then, our cute unnie~" We say in unison

[After school]

"I'll make sure to make a group chat for us once I get home. Talk to you guys later!" Suyeon unnie waves at us with a big smile as she is being dragged home by Suhyeon and Siyoon unnie

"She's odd" Hyunseo speaks up from beside me "Don't worry, Hyunie, everyone in this school is odd" I pat her shoulder "Now go on, Gahyeon unnie's waiting for you over there" She nods and walks off after giving me a hug

"Myah! Wait!" A panting Ikema Ruan stands in front of me "O..kay.! Calm down Miss Ikema Runny" I attempt to have her sit on the bench but she insist on standing

"It's just that... ha.."

"Just what?"

"The flowers... they're gone..." She says in between huffs "THEY'RE WHAT?!"

"The- they're gone, Myah! I was also confused for some time but that's when I realized"

"Realized what?!"

"Kotone kissed me on the cheek a few hours before I noticed changes"
