As the 17 year old girl rushes down the campus hallways, passing by multiple confused students, her dear friend; who she actually hasn't seen in four days, was being wheeled out of her own dorm room as an adequate daisy stands charmingly on her chest, fully bloomed

People gasping in shock here and there as the paramedics do their best to rush the dying girl outside the building

Once the bed was about to be lifted onto the ambulance, the running girl arrives, panting heavily with her clothes soaked in sweat while tears uncontrollably roll down her cheeks

"Yah! Jia-yah! Why today! Yoon Jia!" She cries out, dropping to her knees as the truck drives off

She looks at the ground, feeling helpless

"Youngeun-ah... Jia left this for you..." Jiwon holds out a purple piece of paper with a picture of her and her friend

"Detective Heo! Come on, we need to survey the scene" Hearing this, the tall detective pats the young girl on the shoulder as she bids her farewell, running over to her partner "Sorry for the hold-up, Yuju unnie, the victim had me give the girl something days before this"

"So you know the victim?" Detective Choi Yuju asks with a slight raise of her brow "Yeah... She was a friend of mine" The older detective nods in acknowledgement as she and her partner enter the building

[At Youngeun's house]

"Youngie? Why aren't you with Jia?" The 17 year old's sister asks worriedly, concerned for the girl

"No point in going now" She replies in a monotone, closing her bedroom door, instantly dropping on the floor once she locked it

"What did you write this time, Jia..." She mumbles under her breath, opening her backpack and pulling out the said letter

Carefully opening it, her hands tremble even more as tears start welling up in her eyes after she realized what the letter had contained

If you're reading this, I'm probably gone by now

I know you're confused on how I got it because I've always said that
I never had a crush at all but that was lie.
I like you, Eun. I always did but I realized I fell for you three
months ago.

"Jia..." She lets out a slight sniffle. A few minutes later, her sniffles turn into sobs then her sobs turn into cries of pain(emotional, of course). By now, her tears had already fully soaked her clothes as she buries her head, holding tightly onto the letter as she finally breaks down

[3 days later]

"Jia was an amazing friend, we'll miss her" Dayeon calmly finishes, tears settling on her lashes as she gently tosses her flower into the pit as the said girl's coffin was being lowered

"We'll forever cherish you, Jia. Always"

"I'll miss you, kiddo. Hope you're doing great up there"

"I'll treat her well, Jia. Just like you always told me to. I promise you that"

"I'll miss you, sis"

"We all will"

[After the ceremony: somewhere away from everyone]

"My, we need to tell them"

"About you or about me?"

"Both of us! We can't just waste away without them knowing. They'll find out eventually"

"No. If you wanna tell them, tell them yourself. I'm not gonna risk Hiyyih unnie blaming herself once I pass"
