*NOTE: THIS ONESHOT TAKES PLACE IN SEASON 3 EP 13 AFTER DR. HA LEAVES THE RESTAURANT WHERE HE MET RONA AND SAID HIS FINAL FAREWELL.

***********************************************************************************************

Rona stared at the untouched glass of soju that sat in front of her, the tears still rolling down her cheeks. She had no intention of stopping her tears anymore. It didn't matter that people were staring at her and whispering amongst themselves. She reached into her bag and pulled out the box she had intended to give Dr. Ha. It was a pen with the words "Neurosurgeon Ha Yoon Chul" written on it. She had wanted to end things on a good note. She wanted to leave after solving their tangled up relationship but the moment she saw his face, it was too hard to hide the pain she felt.

(Flashback to 2 hours ago)

Rona was getting ready to go and meet Dr. Ha when her phone began to buzz. "Logan Ajhussi?" She accepted the call and pressed the phone on her ear.

-"Ajhussi!"

-"Rona-ya...are you ready?"

-"Yes. Is Dr. Ha really okay enough to get out of the hospital like this? I could've just come to the hospital."

-"About that...there is something you should know."

-"What is it?"

-"Ha Yoon Chul..lost his eyesight because of the fall...and the doctors say he doesn't have much time left. This is why he wanted to meet you so urgently and send you off with a smile."

Rona sunk down on her knees, a palm tightly placed on her lips while her eyes grew watery.

-"Rona-ya...it's not our fault. Don't blame yourself. I didn't want to tell you but this might be the last chance you meet your father. I don't want you to regret your last time with him."

-"I understand, ajhussi. Thank you for telling me."

(BACK TO PRESENT)

In the end, she couldn't smile for him. It was too painful to see him struggling and pretending he was fine for someone who was the cause of him getting hurt. She could feel her chest tighten with guilt and frustration. Hurriedly, she grabbed the glass and gulped the soju, a hot, burning sensation running down her throat.

"Now I really don't have anyone."

With cold, dead eyes she reached for the bottle and poured more soju in her glass and shoved it into her mouth. The restaurant owner looked on in concern as she continued to drink without a word.

(A FEW HOURS LATER)

Twelve empty bottles of soju sat on the table in front of Rona. It was getting late and there was no other customer left in the place.

"Ajhumma...can you get me...another...bottle?" Rona's eyes were red and puffy and her cheeks still wet with all the tears. She was barely sitting up straight as she smiled when a new bottle was placed in front of her.

"Hehe...thankyouuu..." She bowed.

"Little miss, you should really stop now. I don't think you will be able to go home at this rate."

"Home? What's that? I...dun have any home." Rona opened the bottle and refilled her glass.

"How will you go home like this? Is there someone you can call right now?"

"Someone I..want to...call? Hmmmmmmm who would that be." Rona lifted her phone and opened her contacts and her gaze fell on the number saved under her favourites.

"Seokhoon..." She muttered, the smile fading from her face.

"Can he come and pick you up right now?" The owner stared at the clock. It was about to strike 12 any moment now.
