Chapter 1

I woke up with Jesy jumping on me. She started shaking me, so I could get up in time for school. All I wanted to do was stay in bed. I honestly liked online school better. My friends/bandmates were the only ones going to private school.

I'm not the social type neither. I put my pillow over my head, trying to block the sound of screaming girls.

"Come on, Jade! It's your first day, you wouldn't want to be late." I heard Leigh-Anne's voice say. I took the pillow off my head and looked at Leigh who had a cup of coffee in her hand. She sat it down next to me on my dresser.

"I'd rather be late. Better yet, stay in bed all day." I rolled my eyes as I sat up. I was about to drink some of the coffee Leigh-Anne made for me until Jesy grabbed my foot and dragged me off the bed. I fell onto the floor with the sound of my butt breaking, "Really?"

She shrugged and just walked away. I'm so done with living with these girls.

I decided to finally get up and brushed myself off. I sighed as I walked to my bathroom. I grabbed my toothbrush and toothpaste then, turned on the tap and started brushing my teeth. I put down my toothbrush after a minute or two and started taking off my clothes and I hurried and took a quick shower before I got ready.

After the shower, I got my clothes out and put them on. I had on a crop top, which at least covers my stomach, with some high-waisted jeans.

I brought my shoes, socks, and backpack downstairs to see Perrie, Jesy and Leigh-Anne waiting for me. I sat next to Perrie who was on her phone.

She put down her phone and gave me a look,  "Took you long enough. I was thinking about just leaving you."

"Well, I don't even want to go, so I'm not in a hurry." I fake smiled as I was putting my shoes on. I grabbed my backpack and threw it on my shoulder.

Jesy got up and grabbed her keys off the counter. Everyone got up and went out the house. Jesy locked the door behind us.

"Are you sure this school isn't crowded?" I asked Perrie. I didn't really want to go to a private school where there's really a lot of people.

"I mean there's only really celebrities admitted to this school for many reasons, but there's really only one relevant band there called 5 Seconds of Summer." Perrie said while getting in the car, taking the front seat while I sat at the back with Leigh-Anne.

"I've seen them around; I think the drummer's cute." Jesy blurted out.

I guess they were alright. I've only listened to a few of their songs. My favorite was, "The Only Reason."

"The band is average, I don't think they're something to fangirl over." Perrie yawns.

"In my opinion, I think the lead guitarist is the best looking and has a decent voice." I looked down and cleared my throat.

I saw a few looks were thrown at each other, which made everything awkward.

What did I say?

"The lead singer is always overrated."  Leigh-Anne breaks the silence.

Well...that is true, but I honestly' think he has something special. They're all great; he just amuses me.

"Speaking of 5 Seconds of Summer, just stay away from them okay? Most of the things those guys do are dangerous. They're nothing but trouble at that school; Luke especially." Perrie advises me.

I just nod my head at her comment. I'm just going to listen to her because on my first day of school I don't want any trouble anyways. I just want a drama-free environment around me.

After a few minutes, Jesy finally gets to the school. It looked so huge from the outside, I bet in the insides it's even bigger. I really hope I don't get lost. It'll be embarrassing to get lost on the first day.

"We're here you guys." Jesy pulled into the parking lot and got out the car. I beat the girls out of the car and I grabbed my bag but stopped once I turned towards the school.

There were kids smoking outside the entrance doors, then there are the drama kids, and the nerds sitting at the benches.

Just your typical private, high school.

"I think that we got here too early." Perrie looks at her watch, "It's just 7:30"

"I know what I'm doing; I got here early to show Jade around a bit. I mean we don't want her getting lost or anything. " Jesy grabs my hand as we walk towards the school with the rest following.

She opened the door to the school until we both ran into this person. It was Ashton Irwin from 5 Seconds of Summer. He turns around and apologizes, "Oh, I'm so sorry."

I gave him a reassuring smile as he turns his head to Jesy. She shyly smiles and mutters, "It's fine." He gives us both a nod and turns around to talk away.

"So, that's the charming Ashton you were talking about." I teased her.

"Oh, shut up. I don't really like him. He's just cute." Jesy hushed me as I laughed at her response. It's no lie that Jesy is crushing on him, it's so obvious. I just hope I can find my prince charming.
