Chapter 10:

September 30:

I woke up early to go to my meeting and got a smoothie. I started getting ready to hang out with Sydnie. I just finished doing my hair just when the door bell rang. I got up and walked to see who's there. I opened the door to see Sydnie on the other side.

Sydnie: you're not done?
Y/N: I just need to change and I'll be done
Sydnie: I invited the boys to come with us but they said they're gonna meet us there when they're done with the studio
Y/N: alright I guess it's no longer a girls day
Sydnie: hey we can do a girl's night
Y/N: we can go to the club
Sydnie: yes!
Y/N: alright let me change and we'll head out
Sydnie: I'll be here

I went back in my room and quickly changed into a bikini and oversized sweater and shorts. I walked out and we decided to take my car. After a while, we got to a restaurant and ordered breakfast. We're heading to Malibu since we went to Santa Monica last time.

Sydnie: so how's your music going?
Y/N: it's going good a lil stress but it's going good
Sydnie: that's good to hear
Y/N: it is, so how's everything in your end?
Sydnie: well now it's going amazing I get to finally hangout with you
Y/N: I know and I'm sorry I just been busy with my music and
Sydnie: and Zion
Y/N: no I was gonna say figuring out what happened that night with Jack
Sydnie: you're still with that
Y/N: yes I am
Sydnie: just let it go and it'll probably pop up
Y/N: I just want to know
Sydnie: he'll probably tell you soon
Y/N: I highly doubt it
Sydnie: he'll probably tell you when he's not sober
Y/N: we won't know
Sydnie: how about we forget about it?
Y/N: fine

A few hours later.

We finished shopping and we're heading over to the beach. We sent the boys the location where where we're gonna be. Syd and I set up our spot before heading to the water.

A few minutes later.

We were both soaked when we saw that the boys finally came. They set their things down and went to us. I saw that we were missing one person. I look to our spot and saw that Jack was sitting down.

Y/N: why didn't Jack come in?
Zach: I don't know
Y/N: I'll go talk to him
Sydnie: no you stay here I'll have a talk with him
*you stayed back & Syd got out of the water*
Y/N: okay

Sydnie's POV:
I have a feeling I know why Jack didn't want to come in. Y/N wanted to go talk to him but I know he was gonna give her some bullshit excuse.

Sydnie: hey bro
Jack: hey
Sydnie: why aren't in the the water and don't tell me because you don't want to you enjoy being in the water
Jack: I just didn't want to come
Sydnie: why not?
*he stays quiet & looks at you*
Sydnie: you didn't want to come because of Y/N
Jack: it's not that
Sydnie: then what is it? You need to tell her what happened
Jack: I just don't want to lose her or destroy what she has with Zion
Sydnie: but she's been dying to know what happened
Jack: and you don't think I'm dying to tell her
Sydnie: well then just do it
Jack: I can't
Sydnie: what do you mean?
Jack: I don't even think she feels the same way anymore
Sydnie: she does
Jack: if she did she wouldn't have disappeared with Zion and end up dating him
Sydnie: because she wants to try and forget about you duh
*he looks down*
Jack: yeah right
Sydnie: look take her to meet Lav in Hawaii and then stay there for a few more days just the two of you and figure things out
Jack: fine I'm going next week anyways and mom can't go so I'll take her
Sydnie: do it but for now go in the water
*she stands up*
Sydnie: come on
Jack: alright
*they started walking towards you guys*
Jack: wait how do you know about what happened that night?
Sydnie: Daniel and Corbyn couldn't keep it a secret anymore
