Chapter 4:

A few minutes later.

I went outside and saw that he was pulling up. I got in his car and we drove off. After a while, we got to the river.

Y/N: this place is beautiful
Jack: and it's so peaceful too
Y/N: last person to get in has to buy shots
Jack: oh you're on

We raced each other and I had beaten him. I was the first one to get to the river. We did bring drinks and snacks.

Two hours later.

We decided to finally head back to my place and get ready for dinner. We packed up everything and started heading over to my place. Jack had brought his clothes to change.

3 hours later.

I finished doing my hair and makeup *swipe to see*. Jack had to go get something a few minutes ago. He told me he'll let me know when he's outside. I changed into my outfit *swipe to see*. I changed Noodles' water and gave him more food. I made him a small space for him to go to the restroom in. So I don't worry about finding surprises.

A few minutes later.

Jack texted saying he's outside. I locked up the place and went outside. After a while, I got in the car and he started to drive.

Y/N: so where did you go?
Jack: I had to get something for tomorrow
Y/N: what is it?
Jack: I'll show it to you later I left it at Syd's apartment
Y/N: okay so where are we going to eat?
Jack: what are you craving?
Y/N: I kinda want to go to Saddle Ranch
Jack: then that's where we gonna be eating

A few minutes later.

We got to Saddle Ranch and paparazzi came up to us. They asked us about making a song together and if we're making on a new song separately.

Y/N: there is a song coming out soon
*they asked you more questions*
Paparazzi: so congrats on your new song 'I Can't Fall in Love Without You' amazing song by the way
Y/N: thank you it took a lot of studio hours for it to come out as I was hoping to
Paparazzi #2: I can agree to that but what we're wondering
Paparazzi #3: who was song written for?
Y/N: uhm it's written for anyone who can relate to it
Paparazzi #4: who would you dedicate this song too?
Y/N: I can't say right now
*Jack comes to you since he was taking pictures with limelights*
Jack: hey our table is ready
*he puts his hands on your waist*
Y/N: well it was nice talking to you guys but I got to go
*you both started to walk in as a paparazzi said something*
Paparazzi: the song is about Jack, isn't it?

I just acted like I didn't hear them. We both walked in and sat down at our table. We started ordering our drinks and a starter dish.

Jack: I can't believe you're 22 today
Y/N: I had tons of scares but I made it
Jack: we still got time to do something
Y/N: Jack you know I hate celebrating my birthday
Jack: why? Give me one good reason
Y/N: it's when my parents got a divorce
Jack: I thought they got divorced after you graduated
Y/N: they started to get a divorce on my birthday but it was finalized after my graduation
Jack: I didn't know
Y/N: no one knows everyone thinks they did it when I moved out
*your eyes become watery*
Jack: hey let's change the subject
Y/N: okay how's your music going?
Jack: we have a few songs ready but I don't know when we're gonna release them yet
Y/N: can I listen to one?
Jack: you're gonna have to wait
