"Lucy!" Julia, my best friend called out to me.

"Luce!" Jay, my other best friend called while walking casually towards me.

"Julia! Jay!" I squealed joyfully hugging them both very tightly.

I turned around as I released my friends and I swear I saw Cayden glaring.

"Do you have a problem Cayden?" I inquired.

"No... No I don't... "

"Good."

"Who are they?" Julia asked me while pointing at Cayden and the others.

"They're from Silver Pine." I replied.

"What rank are you guys?" Brittney rudely interrupted.

"Why does it matter?" Jay asked bitterly as he rested his arm on my shoulders.

"Rank is everything nowadays, if you haven't noticed Jay." Brittney shot back.

"Well I'm sorry I haven't noticed, but I don't think I'd ever tell my rank to someone as rude as you." Jay spat.

I laughed hysterically and gave Jay a high five. From the corner of my eyes I could see Cayden shifting, clearly disturbed.

"Would you mind telling us your ranks?" Cayden intruded, indirectly challenging Jay.

Cayden gritted his teeth while trying to sound as polite as possible.

"I'm a Supreme." Jay smirked.

The four from Silver Pine gasped, backing out slightly, but Cayden wasn't amused. His jaw tightened, as his glare became more intense.

"Well, I'm an Elite." Julia squeaked.

"What about you Lucy?" Cayden urged with a piercing gaze.

"I don't want to say." I said glumly.

"Ple-" Cayden was immediately cut off by Jay.

"If she doesn't want to say, she doesn't need to say." Jay forced onto Cayden, protectively. "What rank are you guys?"

"Elite." Brittney replied pridefully.

"Major." Alice said brightly, she was always bright.

"Elite." Alex said, smiling mischievously.

"Major." Justin whispered like he always did.

"Supreme." Cayden said, continuously glaring at Jay.

This time, it was the students from Ivy Crest that gasped and whispered among each other. It was kind of a big deal since two Supremes have surfaced at this school.

"What type are you?" Jay asked Cayden, feeling threatened by his rank and appearance.

"What type are you?" Cayden shot back.

The rivalry between these two have only grown from this conversation.

"Fine, I'm an Elite seducer and Minor shielder."

"A hybrid, huh?" Cayden thought out loud.

A hybrid is a person that possesses two different powers of different or same ranks. The ranks of a hybrid's powers would be added, causing them to be in a higher rank. A shielder has the ability to create a shield in a given area depending on their rank, a shielder can also choose what they want to be shielded against. The shield's strength is determined on rank and ability.

"Yeah, now you Cayden." Jay urged.

"I'm... I'm... a seducer, a Supreme seducer..." Cayden explained, glancing at me nervously.

"What do you want, Cayden." I said bitterly as I glared.

"Nothing... Nothing..." Cayden trailed off.

"Good." I said relentlessly.

"Wait Jay, if you're a seducer then how can you touch her so easily? Without... You know... Seducing her?" Cayden questioned, irritated.

"I can control who I want to seduce, can't you?" Jay scoffed.

Seducers are able to seduce a person the opposite gender of them by physical contact and they usually can control who they seduce. Skin to skin contact of a seducer and their victim causes a seducer's powers to be unleashed, releasing large amounts of a hormone that attracts the victim to the seducer. They could practically control their victim. The victim would listen to almost anything they said and asked for. The greater the rank of the seducer, the greater the power. The period of time someone is seduced and how in love the victim is to the seducer are what mainly separates the ranks between seducers.

"No... No I can't..." Cayden said, unconsciously deepening his voice.

Cayden's power was too great to be controlled, his Supreme seducer powers could not be restrained. 

The girls started noticing Cayden's charms and suddenly Cayden was their main topic. They squealed at all his actions and voice changes, all his expressions.

"Hah. So, like, you seduce everyone girl you touch skin to skin?" Jay asked, obviously amused.

"Yeah..." Cayden hatefully admit.

"Sucks to be you." Jay scoffed, once again.

"Can you, like stop touching Lucy so much? You might accidentally seduce her." Cayden commanded indirectly.

"Why do you-" I was cut off by Jay.

"Dude, you've known her for like, what, five minutes? Why do you care so much?" Jay challenged, obviously disliking the fact that he was told what to do.

I made eye contact with Jay so that I could thank him for speaking my words.

"I've known her longer than that. Like hmm, six years?" Cayden shot back.

"Hah, I've known her since two men that worked here dragged her in and left her crying and broken on the floor. She continuously cried and cried saying that Cayden would come to save her. She said that Cayden had to come save her. She also talked about how Cayden was her best friend and that he would never abandon her. Funny, for a little six year old girl to be calling for this Cayden, not her mommy. I helped her and became her friend. I did, not you, me. Julia and I helped her become apart of this school, and where were you? With your other girlfriends, forgetting all about Lucy." Jay preached, as he looked down at me occasionally.

"I was not calling for Cayden!" I blurted as I bit part of my lower lip, blushing.

"I never forgot about Lucy. Not a single day." Cayden said sternly. "And girls always followed me, I only tried to talk to guys."

"Is that so, Cayden?" Jay managed to question before the bell interrupted.
