Chapter 8 who?

Raghav went and sat on the lead chair. He looked at Mahira where she passed him the food which is distant from him. He handed a soft smile towards her which she returned.

"I hope you all are comfortable here," Raghav said making everyone's attention to him. All the executives smiled at him with a nod.

"It is so nice of you Raghav sir," Misha said with a smile and Raghav also gave her a small smile.

Raghav's pov-

'yeah yeah nice of me if you don't know why I brought all of you here. just an act of revenge for sarthik, he has his huge ego and attitude that he even punched me I know sarthik you're also planning something after our conversation, now that I know you have feelings for Mahira you will definitely do try to protect her from me.

Like I'm seeing you, your face when I lied that we are staying in one room is just another level enjoyable feeling. Now see what I can do for my revenge.'

Sarthik's pov-

'I can feel his stare and smirk on me thinking that he can take revenge on me. I know this jerk will do something but if he put his finger on Mahira just for his personal hurted ego and stupid revenge I swear I will make him beg for forgiveness.

I was eating dinner calmly when the vibration beside the plate of my phone took my eyes on the screen. 'the message from heena'

"Where are you? Sarthik"

She already knows that I'm on a business trip, so why she is asking.

" business trip" I typed and sent.

"With whom?"

'What the hell is that I scoffed 'if I'm on a business trip then it's obvious that I'm with my employees.' I made a 'so done' annoyed face.

"She is always like that..." Mahira whispered low which is hearable for me, then she took her bite "...weird" she made an annoyed face while munching her food.

'so Mahira hates heena' I thought calmly after her words. 'wait......' my face became confused but serious 'Mahira......hates...heena' I sighed in irritation. That's why she asking me this.

'These girl battles' I shook my head a little in exasperation.

"Sarthik! With whom you are on the trip" Heena sent.

"With my employees"

"So, your 'employees' also contain mahira."

Why I can feel her anger without emojis also.

"Yeah, she is our CFO. Why?"

"Nothing"
"Enjoy" Heena sent and became offline.

'That was easy' I thought with a proud smile on my mind.

I don't know but I'm feeling relieved when she became offline, even if she is angry.

"I hate her" Mahira muddled but it is hearable for me.

I looked at her then I witnessed, that jerk is looking at me and annoying Mahira. So I rolled my eyes.

Authors pov-

"It is the first time that we have had so many guests. And it is also so exciting that we all are around our ages. Because you all are here tonight so I want that we should don't miss the chance and play something. Just to relieve our stress from work and after all, we are partners now so the bonding will be good if we spent our time together tonight in front of the fire." Radhika said and all smiled except sarthik and Raghav who made 'so done' expressions without coming into the vision of anyone.

Raghav saw Mahira has completed her food.
"I want to have a talk with you," Raghav said where Mahira nodded.

Dinner completed, Radhika and some more executives went outside the mansion in the fireplace.

Sarthik stood and started heading towards his room then Radhika saw him and approached him to join all of them. Sarthik declined by saying he have some work to look at, But Radhika insisted on him with pleading. So he yessed.

Everyone gathered on the fireplace except Raghav and Mahira they both still sitting on their chairs.

"something happened, between you both means......I mean you both are not too good friends in school but you guys laugh with each other and are comfortable with each other. So what happened after school finished.........In these 4 years.
when I came back from Canada I get to know that you both now have chilies for each other. What is the reason for that." Raghav asked.

"Raghav......ahm............" Mahira is too hesitant to speak further which she is going to say. Her eyes are moving in every corner Then she sighed "She by herself made distances in between us after school finished everyone went their own way me too but then I got to know that I and Heena are in the same university. We both became good friends but just one day she thought that my bench mate which is her crush, And I'm making moves on him, after that, I never liked to talk to her. But one day we both said to bring some groceries on the trek we both went together but then..............." She paused.
"Leave it Raghav I don't want you to hate her I don't want to ruin the friendship you both have what she did to me can never be forgiving."

Mahira says and stood to head towards the garden where everyone are waiting for them. "Let's go everyone is waiting for us, so we should don't waste our time talking about any useless person" both went outside.

Radhika suggested one game where everyone has to change their name. The names got selected for all but Mahira wasn't able to think of some name for her.

"Sona!, mam you can make your name sona," Misha said with a smile where Mahira smiled back.

Raghav's face became blank his lips got dried and parted then he looked straight with his eyes moving on the thoughts mapping on his mind. He pressed his lips.

Flashback~

"Sona!......... It's dangerous! Come down!" Raghav was scolding to bring her down from the edge of the cliff.
He was making himself look like he is scolding which he is, but the thing is that he is soo worried. Even a slight stretch on her body makes him kill the source of that stretch so what if something happen to her.

Then sona came and dragged him to show something from the cliff. He just smiled.

End of flash back~

Raghav sat properly with seriousness on his face, the small flashback on his mind after hearing that name, threw a big arrow in his heart. His eyes started to be red and his hands are about to shiver in anger but he stood saying he is not feeling well.

Everyone just looked at his change of behavior, except Radhika seeing for the first time even Mahira is seeing him this uncomfortable and serious for the first time. Radhika became sad for him and sighed.

He stood to head off making everyone confused where sarthik was relieved that now he don't need to play these weird games and about Raghav's behavior he is not giving any attention but the thing that came to his mind is that Raghav surely have something in his past.
