Chapter 12 [Her Journey]

Taeko's P.O.V

My name is Taeko, i've been a loyal member of the empress' army for over three year's now, when i heard that the Oarburgh clan was looking for her i got ready and left the capital, i stood up the entire night to make up time so i would get to them soon but of course there were some "Bump's" in the road, and by "Bump's" i mean thug's.

Thug 1:"Well well well, look at what we have here."

Taeko:"Hm?"

Thug 2:"Damn ain't she a pretty little thing?"

Thug 3:"What do ya say we have some fun with her?"

Thug's:"Yeah."

Thug 1:"Hey girly, how 'bout you make this easer and strip down for us?"

I drew my blade from it's scabbard and issued them a warning.

Taeko:"I am Taeko, the personal assassin for the empress of this countrey, if you stand in my way i will cut you down."

Thug 1:"Well that's to bad, alright boy's look's like we're gonna have to break her a bit before we can have our fun!"

They ran at me with intention to hurt me but they had no idea who this "Pretty girl" really was, i dashed forward landing fatal hit's on every one of them without being wounded myself.

Thug 1:"Wh-What the hell are you?"

Taeko:"A loyal servant of the empress, that's all, nothing more nothing less."

I began walking away when one of them stood back up and ran at me again, time to try out something i've been working on for a while.

Taeko:"Cut you down!"

I quickly swung and re-sheathed my blade, it worked my sword made a temporary tear in reality and cut the thug to shread's.

Taeko:"Yes it worked!":(What will i call it? I already have light gale so what will this one be called? Hmmm i know!):"Judgment cut, it has a nice ring to it."

I continued on my way in search for the empress and her fiancé so that i could make sure they were unharmed, but while i was walking i began to think to myself about what i said and what the empress said.

Flashback.

Taeko:"A loyal servent of the empress, that's all, nothing more nothing less."

Further back.

Akame:"You are so much more than you guve yourself credit for Taeko, you shouldn't think just about my safety, you deserve to be protected just as much as the next person does."

Flashback end.

I can remember after she said that she hugged me, maybe she is right after all maybe i have been pushing myself a little to much, maybe i could give myself a small break when this is over, as i continued i saw them.

Taeko:"Your highness!"

Akame:"Ah, you're here sooner than i thought, sometime's i forget how fast you are."

Taeko:"I'm glad that you're alright, just in case i brought medical supplise if we get wounded."

Akame:"That's my Taeko, always prepared for anything."

With the three of us ready, we started on the path toward's regaining [Murasame's] shard's and bringing justice to these lawless people.
