Chapter 40 [The Empress and her Dragon]

Tatsumi's P.O.V

Today mark's the end of the greatest enemy to mankind the Aldmeri Dominion, they had made an attempt on Chouri's life due to the fact that they wanted control over our kingdom and we refused so we sent our armies as well as myself to purge them, we were successful and they were now gone.

We had left the Summerset isle's and returned home to our country after the end of them, i can't wait to see my wife and daughter again after all these month's, it took around a day to sail from the isle all the way back home.

Tatsumi:"Finally, home again."

We all got off of the ship's and started back to the kingdom, it was the crack of dawn and not many people were awake at first but when we walked in the gate's and people started chearing that all changed, thousand's of people celebrated our return and the distruction of our enemy.

I was somehow able to slip by and get back to the castle where i could see my family again, i put my sword on the weapon rack and threw my trench coat on the coat rack then i heard the foot step's of a certant child.

Tatsumi:"Who's that i hear?"

????:"Papa!"

She's me and Akame's daughter Akako and the princess of our kingdom, she mostly just run's around and keep's the maid's and butler's on there toe's.

Akako:"Are the bad people gone?"

Tatsumi:"Completely."

I picked her up and held her on my shoulder while Akame walked into the room.

Akame:"Look's like little missy is happy that her papa's home, what of the Aldmeri's?"

Tatsumi:"Purged completely, they're gone and won't be coming back."

Akame:"That's good to hear, now are you gonna tell papa that you were being a little goose while he was gone?"

Akako:"I don't know what you mean mama."

Akame:"She kept taking the servent's shoes and sock's then hiding them so they couldn't find them, she'd only give them back after they played with her."

Akako:"No, that didn't happen you have no proof!"

Akame put her hand's on her hip's and gave a silly smirk, and just like that Akako admited it.

Akako:"Okay i did it, i just wanted to play."

Akame:"I know sweetie i know."

She gave Akako a kiss on the forehead and rubbed the top of her head, i put her down and let her run around some more so she could get some of her energy before breakfast.

Chelsea:"Breakfast will be ready shortly your highness."

Akame:"Thank you Chelsea."

While we waited for breakfast i told Akame and my daughter the story of my battle's with the Aldmeri's and how they weren't expecting our surprise attack.

Akako:"Papa defeated the bad guy's!"

Tatsumi:"Not alone i had the help of our army especally the grand general Bulat."

Akame:"Well as long as we can keep peace in our kingdom i'm happy, the last thing we need is some group thinking the deserve other's kingdom's."

Tatsumi:"I'd think them getting purged serve's as a warning to everyone else, mess with this kingdom you'll have to suffer the consequences."

Chelsea:"Breakfast is served."

Akame+Tatsumi:"Thank you."

Akako gave Chelsea a big smile and thanked her for breakfast, i have to be honest if you walked up to my past self and told me that i'd be an emperor with a loving wife and daughter i'd say you were crazy, my life may have started out really bumpy but now it's become something worth living and i wouldn't trade this for the world.
