Sorry about these past few chapters being in Y/n's POV, the next chapter is going to change it up though!

[Y/n]

That made my blood run cold. That was creepy, Peter had a way of being disturbing. He said that so unemotional. I know he didn't care about Lucy but he didn't need to talk about her death like it means nothing.

I don't know how long we stood like that, wrapped in his arms. My heart was beating out of my chest. Peter didn't seem to care, or he probably just didn't hear it. I hope Mr. Williams gets here soon with those boxes so I can get away from him already. I really hope I can find a way to communicate with him without Peter finding out.

I'm so scared. If this doesn't work out I can end up putting people in danger.

Or even myself.

I subtly tried to pull myself away from Peter. "I'm gonna start gathering my things."

He let out a sigh and let go of me. "Alright, need any help?"

I started walking towards my bedroom, "Sure, I don't have much though. Just clothing and some books mostly. Most of the furniture came with the apartment."

"Great so this won't take long at all!" Peter said happily.

No, not good. I want to kill time. "Yep, don't let me forget my bathroom stuff."

"Don't worry, I won't."

We stepped into the bedroom and I gathered all of the remaining clothing from my wardrobe and tossed it onto the bed, pulling the hangers out and setting them aside so we could bring them along with us. I don't plan on leaving but if I want to make this believable I want it to look like I am I might as well pack, I mean I already broke my lease so I can't stay anyway.

Finally I heard Mr. Williams step into the apartment, we left the door open since we knew he'd be coming. We went out to see him.

He set a stack of folded up boxes on the coffee table, way more then I needed. "Whatever you don't use you can leave, I'll use them to pack up Lucy's things." He stood still with his normal stoic expression and arms crossed. "What happened to your wrist kid?" He nodded towards my arm.

My wrist? I glanced down, unaware that my sleeves rolled up and was now showing the brace. "I fell off the bed."

He cocked his eyebrow. "Uh huh? Fell off the bed?"

"It's true, I was sleeping with Peter and then-Wait no-" I stopped, why am I trying to make excuses? This is exactly what I wanted. I wanted Mr. Williams to help me.

Mr. Williams shook his head. "Right, I don't need to know the details." Crap, crap, crap. No! Ugh I'm so stupid! I desperately shot him pleading eyes, hoping he'd understand I need help and that I wasn't just telling him it was a sex accident. God that would be embarrassing. "Well I'll leave you two to pack." And with that he turned and walked out the door, closing it behind him.

I think I just felt my only hope vanish.

Peter walked up to me, gently placing his hand on my should. "Good job, darling. I was worried for a second. I should have trusted you more. That bastard needs to stop being so nosy though." He chuckled. "He really needs to keep his nose out of our life if he knows what's good for him."

"He's just concerned after what happened with Lucy. He doesn't need another crazy boyfriend bringing the property value down on his apartments." I joked and we laughed. 'Sorry Lucy, I didn't want to use you in such a heartless joke but I knew it would lighten the mood.' I silently thought, as if her ghost was around.
