I shyly waved at him, what he answered with a small smile.

"Malfoy? Are you insane?", I heard Ron whispering and pulling me to his site.

"What? He was nice, to me.", I said when I sat down beside him.

"I have to admit, he might be not the best influence.", Hermione whispered.

"I just waved at him.", I said kind of offended.

"Waving to the enemy.", Ron said.

"Snap out of it, Ronald, and be my best friend again, how about that?", I left the great hall again.

Am I overreacting? Is Ron overreacting? How can they already judge Malfoy? They barely knew him. What he said yesterday, I certainly do not agree with his opinion, but he obviously wanted to show off how bold he is and proud of being a pure-blood. Most of them are like that, influenced by their parents. It does not mean he is the devil in person.

I was so much in my thoughts that I didn't realize that I was about to bump into someone until it was too late.

"Hey little Hufflepuff, I thought we'd see each other at lunch?", hearing Fred immediately calmed me down.

His voice always had this effect on me, when I was upset, he always managed to get me back to earth.

"What is going on?", he asked having both of his hand resting on the sides of my arms.

"Argued with Ron, again.", I said, while avoiding his eyes.

He sighed and hung his head.

"You both are even worse than siblings.", he said smiling.

"I'm sure he is already worrying about you, Nia.", he continued.

"Wouldn't be so sure about that.", I sighed, and he hugged me.

"Let's go to the great hall.", he said, breaking the hug.

"Where is George?", I asked him now.

"Oh, he was hungry.", he laughed.

"As always, just like Ron.", I laughed.

Arriving at the great hall, I saw that Susan and Hermione were sitting at the Hufflepuff table.

"I guess, you want to join them?", he asked, and I nodded.

"Thank you, Fred.", I smiled and hugged him.

We went our separate ways, I sat down beside Susan facing the Slytherin table.

"How are you?", Hermione, who was sitting in front of me, asked.

"Better, thanks to Fred. He never fails to cheer me up.", I said smiling.

"You still should talk that out with Ron, he was crashed after you left.", Susan said.

"Yeah, guessed so.", I sighed, "Later, we have to concentrate in Transfiguration and Charms with Slytherin after lunch."

"We should eat, I'm starving.", Susan said to brighten up the mood.

We finished early, the reason Susan and me already went, slowly, to the Transfiguration classroom.

"Davis!", I heard someone call me.

I turned around.
