Depression and Love Don't Mix Well (Jack and Finn fanfic)

Chapter 12

Niki's POV:
I woke up today and I went over to jack and Finns house cause it was getting harder and harder to see Michayla's mom and dad go through that divorce. For me it's like watching your second family split up. Michayla's dad wasn't accepting of her and Finn and was on the edge for Jack and I. She would wake up everyday like me and head over to their house. We finally achieved penny boarding so that's how we get around and luckily their house isn't far. In about 2 weeks Jack and I will be together for one year. We were on summer break and I was excited to spend it with the people I love the most. I haven't talked to my mom or dad since I moved out I've talked to my nan and she is doing really good. I ran into Michayla's room and jumped on her bed and yelled
"WAKE UP SLEEPY HEAD!"
"No it's too early!" She said
"Well I'm bored and I want to go see Jack and Finn so get up if you want to come with."
"Did you say Finn?"
I laughed and said "Yeah."
"I'll be up and ready in about 20."
I walked out of her room and her dad said
"Are you guys going over to Jack and Flinns house?"
I glared at him and said "For one its Finn and two I dot get why you don't like him he loves Michayla and cares about her no matter what you have just put these ideas into your head that he's some kind of monster. I know also that your not fond of Jack either but you don't even know them they love us and they are the reason why we're not as depressed anymore and the reason why we have a new look on life and you sit there like your all high and mighty and better then them when last time I checked your a human just as them."
He looked at me and said "I don't like Jack and Finn cause they are no good for you. I don't appreciate you yelling at me in my home about how to raise you and Michayla." Just with that Michayla walked out and said
"Well then I hope you enjoy disappointment cause I'm staying with Finn no matter what and you can't stop me. Also I DONT APPRECIATE THE WAY YOUR TALKING TO MY BEST FRIEND! WHILE YOU HAVENT BEEN THERE SHE HAS YOU DONT EVEN KNOW WHY SPENCER AND I BROKE UP! ALL YOU KNOW IS WERE NOT TOGETHER ANYMORE! IM SICK AND TIRED OF YOU JUDGING JACK AND FINN BUT NOT ONLY THEM OTHER PEOPLE TOO! YOU THINK YOU CONTROL EVERYTHING WELL NEWS FLASH YOU DONT! Come on Niki lets go."
"I am so sorry Michayla." I said while penny boarding to Jack and Finns house
"It's ok it's not your fault." she said crying I just don't know what to do for her. Well I guess we'll find out soon enough.
Finns POV:
Jack and I were playing on the Xbox till we heard a knock on the door. When Jack opened it he looked at Niki who was on the verge of crying while when I looked at Michayla her eyes were read and wet and I pulled her into a hug to try and calm her down. I took her into the bathroom to help her get cleaned up and when we got up there she was bawling her little eyes out. I set her on the counter while Jack and Niki were downstairs and him trying to get her cleaned up. I hate seeing her like this. I finally found the strength to speak and say
"Why are you crying love?"
"My dad and I got in this huge argument and then Niki said something and then he said something and Finn my whole world feels like it's falling apart." she said starting to cry again
"What was it about? and what did he say?"
"It was about how he doesn't like you and how he doesn't like Jack either. Finn he thinks he can tell me who to date and who not to but Finn I love you more then life itself and if fighting him everyday is what it takes then so be it. If it means being with you then I'll go through hell and back." she said
Hearing those words made my heart sink. To know that those tears are from her father because of me. My God she's strong.
"See that's what makes you special is through hell or high water your always there and always strong."
She looked at me and said "You think this is strong cause to me it's weak."
"To me yeah your strong for as long as you've kept your shit together, yeah I call that strong."
"Thanks Finn but I promise you I'm not the only reason why I'm good at hiding pain is cause of my meds and my scars."
"Wait have you been cutting agai same with overdosing?" I said in a whispered yell
She looked my in the eye and nodded. When I saw that I grabbed her bag found the pill bottle and put it in my back pocket and said these are mine I will give you these everyday and the correct dosage. She looked at me and wrapped her hands around my neck and gave me a hug and said
"I love you Finn so much."
I kissed her forehead and said
"I love you too so much. Can I ask you something though?"
"Sure what is it?"
"Would you mind if I went to your house and try to convince your dad about me?"
"Please be my guess but don't expect a budge unless your as persuasive as a lawyer."
"Ok. Lets go." I said
