"PETER, have you ever heard of that Glowing Green Guy?" Elise asked the boy who was heading towards the phone.
"Never in my life." Peter told the girl. Elise nodded, sitting next to MJ on the stairs. She wanted to give him some privacy on the phone call he was about to do.
The boys were talking about glowing green guy and his powers. MJ told them some stuff and the only thing she heard was, "Spider-Man could take him." And guess who said that? Flash.
Elise nodded. She did have favoritism on Spider-Man seeing as he was one of her favorite superheroes. She looked toward the direction of the TV even though she didn't have a good view of it, she could still somewhat hear it.
"Who is that guy?" Betty asked, her hand on the back of Ned's chair.
"He's like Iron Man and Thor rolled into one." Brad stated.
"He's all right." Flash scoffed. "He's no Spider-Man."
"What is it with you and Spider-Man?" MJ asked. Flash furrowed his eyebrows, silently asking; 'Have you seen Spider-Man?'
"What?" Flash turned towards her slightly. "He's just awesome, okay? He protects the neighborhood and, you know, he's inspiring. He inspires me to be a better man. What's up, dickwad?" Flash nodded towards Peter. "Thought you drowned." He winked.
"Flash, cut the better man crap." Elise laughed. "We all know that'll never happen." Peter smiled at the remark.
"Sounds like his name's Mysterio." Brad stated.
"L'uomo del misterio' it's Italian for 'man of mystery." MJ began. "They don't actually know who he is."
"Where'd you learn all this 'cause I want to learn a new language." Elise frowned. MJ looked at her.
"Cool name." Ned and Betty stated at the same time. "Babe." They said again.
"I personally prefer the name I gave him. 'Glowing Green Guy.' You can also call him a 'glow stick.'" Elise shrugged.
"So how much of that did you actually see, Elise?" Peter asked, grabbing the girls attention. MJ knew about Peter's crush on the girl so she got up and went towards the others.
"Uh, more than you would expect." She chuckled. "I was running most of the time but what I saw at the end was pretty cool." She explained.
"Right. Me too. I was also running," Peter nodded. That doesn't add up. She frowned. "away." He added. "So Paris tomorrow." He began. "Go to the Eiffel Tower. Should be great."
"Uh, MJ told me that it was a secretly built as a mind-control antenna to create an army of the insane." Elise explained. "Which I think is crazy. I just want to look at the view."
Peter smiled at her, Elise giving a smile in return. They awkwardly looked forward at everyone else again.
