The Rider

Chapter 1

In the land of Skydongor, in the castle of dragons the king sat on his throne, it seemed he is waiting for a guest.

A man in blue and white armour approached the king.

The king sat on his glorious throne made of diamonds and gold while holding his emerald staff. The man began:

'My lord, a man bearing no name is seeking a word with you'

The king sits in thought for a while and it seems a dark memory appeared again inside his mind.
' What is his appearance like?' The king asked in curiousity.
'He is revolting my lord and he is filled with anger. ' replied the man
'Are his sentences filled with hate?'

'Yes,my lord'

'Well then, I shall not have a WORD with him. Infact I will not have him in my Kingdom!' Shouted the king. The curtains by the door swayed wildly with the wind. The room filled with darkness as the torches blew out. The throne room's door swung open. A cloaked figure completely robed in black entered the room. When it moved forward it seems as if  it was hovering.

His hands were flaming with blue fire. It stopped halfway between the king's throne and the door. 'You know it's despicable to banish someone without them knowing' the figure's voice surely was filled with fury 'if I did not know I was banished I would just walk in, somewhat the same way like I just did. But I have come not to engage with you but instead offer you a deal.' The King's men put their spears crossing over the figure. The figure's hand's flames grew larger with a sudden move the cloaked man pushed his hands out and along with them went the guards. The King's right hand man's (robed in a white cloak) hands grew a red flame. 'Thou shall not stand in this sacred room any longer!' The room shaked with anger. The figure looked as if an ant was challenging him. 'If your majesty will give me his Kingdom for all of eternity, I shall leave faster than you can say Mormoun!' The King's face grew weary he knew he could not give his Kingdom to this man. But he instead turned his head towards his righthand man and whispered to him. The man robed in white took two steps towards Mormoun. 'If you shall not leave willingly' the man's voice was full of intimidation 'the dark is unwanted in this realm! Be gone forever!'

With this Mormoun fled like a scared mouse out of the castle. The king heard a voice out of the shadows 'You can't keep the Nor Drags away from my grasp!' The King's face grew more weary than before. You are probably wondering what is a Nor Drag, well it is a dragon that can change shape into a human. Now this is where I came in. But not at this exact moment, but instead a couple of months before. It was a summers day, warm, the air was buzzing as the other Nor Drag children played outside while I was kept indoors.

My mom always said 'Don't go playing outside with the Nor children.' I never understod why. I mean I was also a Nor child. When I did sneak out I always headed for the chamber of knowledge. I went there because maybe the children were going to eat me. At least thats what one of the folklore says in the scribes: The undragonaly kind. But at the end the HUMAN child, supposedly the chosen one, ended being the Hero.

A man with a green cloak and a long beard walked up behind me and said 'That child is suposed to be found in the next a day or so, if its destiny for the dark to be destroyed.' And he just left. I was so confused. I read that the lady was a Nor Lady. She was of the Dark mountains, a slave. But after the mortal child was given to her she seeked refuge in Skydongor. The child was handed over to her by the elven king Gondûl. No one knows whos his parents or his homeland. But he is supposed to destroy all the darkness. But the prophecy states (towards the end): a hero will rise and fall but die a light, then a new hero of white will carry the burden as the one who has fallen. I'm guessing the hero will die and a white one will rise in his place.
