The Rider

Chapter 3

A sudden white light appeared and I opened my eyes. I was in a white room on a white bed. The floor was made of cobblestone. I looked around to see a dragon turn into a man when he stood by my side.

'I see you awake.' The man said in a pleased way. 'Everyone said you weren't going to.' I got up and asked:
'Where am I?'

'You in the healing room.' Replied the man. 'You've been asleep for 5 years!' I was totally shocked. 'but I blacked-out a few minutes ago...a white dragon even spoke to me!' The man stopped dead in his tracks. He turned around slowly.

'Lift your hand for me please.' I lifted my right hand and I saw a ring on my index finger. The same one from the painting. The man burst out and ran out of the room into the hallway: 'we found him!! After so long we finally found him.'

I did a quick calculation and if I've been asleep for 5 years then I should be 16! I looked at my body and noticed I had abs! I was built! I mean before I was a thin child. The man that sat on the throne from the banquet entered.

'How's the boy doc?' Asked the kingly dressed man.

'He is the cosen one, my lord!' Excalmed the doctor

'Really!'

I could see the man was royalty. I sumed it up the man from the banquet was the king and the other the doctor.

'You have someone who wants to meet you.' The doctor said to me after speaking to the king. 'At noon I'll take you outside to meet the dragon who spoke to you.' After this being said he left the room and a nurse walked in. She was carrying a tray of food.
The tray had bangers and mash( so I was told what mortals had for brunch).

The lady however was rude. I mean she just leaves the tray on my lap and leaves. Anyway I still ate it. It was really good but wasnt filling. After all I have been sleeping for 5 years.

At noon the doctor came as he said. 'Are we ready? Shall we?' The doctor opened the door as if to let me out first. 'Excuse me I never caught your name.' The doctor turned towards me and 'my name is Dr.Cee.' I got off the bed I was lying on and noticed that outside there was snow falling down. Yes! I thought to myself. I've never seen snow before this day.

I followed Dr.Cee. We went from the healing room to the castle's hallway and headed for the front door of the castle. Once we left the castle we headed for the city's gates. When we got outside I finally saw snow for the first time. When I steped on the snow it was so soft it felt like I was going to fall through the earth. When I looked up I saw the white dragon that I saw at the village hall and when I blacked out. It was glorious no painting or statue could capture its magnificence.

Then I heard in my mind Hello Maleklein the rider.

'Who called my name?' I shouted looking around to see who called me. 'No one my dear boy.Then the white dragon who was lying infront of the city, got up and headed towards me. 'It was I who communicated with you telepathically.' I looked around to see if anyone else was as shocked as I was.

'This is Isis. The dragon who is eternally linked with the one who wears that ring.' Said the doctor. Isis began 'long ago when the world was full of light a darkness arose. I sought out to conquer it. So I forged a ring, the chosen ring. The ring gave who ever was worthy any powers the possessor powers wanted. I hid the ring where only the chosen one could find it.' Isis paused

He began again. 'I'm sure you hearf the dreadful end of the prophecy?' Isis bent his head to the same level as mine and I nodded. He continued. 'Make sure the evil does not convert you into doing his will.' The doctor looked at Isis as if he was forgetting something.

'Oh yes! Would you like to jump on and go for a ride?' I looked at the white dragon. He lowered his body to the ground. I walked forward and jumped on.

'Well what we waiting for.' I spoke loudly. Isis flapped his wings and took off.
